I disagree on both points. Wehrmacht desperately needs an AI tank to deal with things like Section or Guard blobs. Pz4 just doesn't cut it and rushing T4 usually is a handicap unless you control both fuel points for a sustained period of time.

My point is not that Ostwind does not need a buff but buff should not aim at just increasing its AI capability.
A buff you increase its AI a bit but also make it more resilient and better vs light Vehicles. So instead of one trick pony one would get a units with more to offer.
Pathfinders
Unit with elite weapon should not be available this early.
The I&R barrage is simply to powerful of its time frame, it drops way too fast and it can easily kill Paks creating problems for Ostheer to deal with the Stuart.
Suggestions:
Lower the price of unit at 240 and have them start with Garand and have the carbines scoped carbines be an upgrade.
That would allow easier access to the units without making them spammable while allow USF opening with more units.
Lock I&R behind tech or upgrade toned it down to mortar barrage HE/Smoke barrage and make it cheaper.
The the ability will be easier to use but with proportional impact.
Kubelwagen
Imo the Kubelwagen still needs some changes to be brought in line with other armored cars.
The unit seem to die very fast while it static DPS seem to be a bit high.
Suggestions:
Lower the penetration of other vehicles like the UC, WC51 and M3A3. They seem to do too much damage to kubel.
Consider lowering the built time of the Kubel
slightly increase the arc of fire of the mg.
Decrease the DPS of the kubel when stationary while increase is moving DPS a bit.
Add extra damage vs Snipers.
le.IG 18
The vet bonuses of the Leig also need to be looked at.
Suggestions:
Give the unit the ability for direct fire with lower range but faster time to hit the target.
Ostwind
The changes seem to focus on turning Ostwind into a AI killing machine, while the reduction in scatter will make it even worse vs vehicles. Imo the unit should become better investment offering more. Compared to the Centaur it has allot less armor and bigger target size.
Suggestions:
Tone down the AI of the unit but increase its performance vs light tanks.
Increase armor reduce size target to perform better vs light tanks
Increase the damage vs light tanks. One could either give the Ostwind 2 fire modes AI and AP with AP or one could turn the auto cannon into a accuracy based weapon similar to Centaur.
Panzergrenadiers
Imo semi elite unit should not be available in their full potential this early. They should follow the power level of mainline infatry and scale with them.
Suggestions:
PG become cheaper close to 280-300 and come with worse weapons a combination of k98/g43/ST44 getting the rest of their weapon as an upgrade.
Since there is real danger of shreck blob one could removed the shcrek upgrade from the PG and create a separate unit (AT PGs) that can upgrade with shcrek.
Imo the ability should either be remove or made useful, the current solution seem to turn it into a useless option.
Suggestion:
Canister either removed or turned into a single shot with a small munition cost that does damage but remain weak.
M1910 Maxim
The ability is rather difficult to use since it take time to prepare.
Suggestion:
Reduce the time (or remove the) to reload of the unit.
Make the ability scale with veterancy even moving to vet 0.
Conscripts
Does the bonus gain in veterancy mean faster XP gain or lower XP value?
The bonuses of lower reinforcement cost more durability and faster XP gain are enough on their own the unit does not need more DPS. Keep in mind that conscripts do not need to win the fight the can win via attrition especially vs 4 men squads that have a high reinforcement cost.
The combination of ourah and cover bonuses make this unit too flexible especially vs grenadier.
If one want to solidify upgrade conscript as a defensive infatry one should simply redesign the abilities of the unit.
Suggestion:
Either simply remove the cover bonuses and lower MU cost for the upgrade
or
Redesign the abilities on the upgraded unit.
1) Ourah replaced by hit the ground (ability could scale with veterancy)
2) Molotov replaced by frag grenade
3) Range of At grenade increased
These changes would solidly the unit as defensive oriented unit.

My pinion is fine thanks you very much.
The performance of unit is relevant to what it is facing. If unit A is more powerful than unit B one can buff unit A or nerf unit B and achieve balance.
The difrence will be what power level the unit will balanced which in return affect how much time the player has to react and how it is to get snowball effects.
For that last patches infatry units are continuously being buffed, reducing reaction time and increasing snowball effects. It time to start nerfing units.
