Or would you argue that the general state of balance was better back when Relic released WFA and UKF armies? I would argue that it is irrelevant. 1) Balance is only one aspect of the game, else we could make all faction identical with only different skins and call it day. 2) As I pointed out the number of bug fixes alone speaks volumes. 3) I personally fully support people who trying to improve them game even when I disagree with them. When I post my comment its because I am trying to help not because I want to prove them wrong. In: COH2 Gameplay

So a different way of asking the question is: Which is a better use of resources to make a good CQB squad when playing as Recon Support, BAR Paratroopers, BAR Riflemen or BAR Pathfinders? I personally would go with Riflemen. On the other hand why go CQC when you have expectant long range DPS with lmg Para and Pathfinder? In: COH2 Gameplay

Ok that imo is taking thing a bit too far. I wonder if you would make the same comment or it would change the contribution of the MOD a couple a patches ago when Overwatch and Reckon where broken. Part of the process of improving is to acknowledge mistakes that have been made. Bottom line here is that there people who use their time to improve the game and we should all support them even when we disagree since we have a common goal. To improve the game. In: COH2 Gameplay

Upgrading with 4 Thompson is cheaper cost 90 MU instead of 120 for 2 BARs. Thompson also gives access to Tactical Asault. In: COH2 Gameplay

Although one can give paras a BAR and then upgrade with LMG. From what I have seen 1 BAR+1 LMG is as good or even better than dual LMG for paras. With BAR and LMG Paras have good DPS in all ranges and scatter mechanism seems to work well. BAR work well with Pathfinder because it spread damage and make critical kill happen more often regardless who is carrying. BAR R.E. and Pathfinder allows to vet faster and get good vet offensive vet bonuses while on Riflemen one get good all around bonuses but a bit slower. In: COH2 Gameplay

But a medic halftrack upgrade for the 250/1 that removes the MG and transportation capability would be interesting. Actually, just add an upgrade able 250 halftrack that can get one of three upgrades: An MG that makes it the WH 250/1 halftrack. A mortar that makes it the WH mortar halftrack. And a medic upgrade that allows it reinforce and deploys two medics that heals individuals. This would make it not quite as good as the USF ambulance at healing, but more durable encouraging its use farther up the field. I am aware of the overlap but a unit that can heal would reduce the blow of losing a medic truck. The medic truck if fully upgraded is a very expensive investment and a healing unit could be an interesting alternative. In: COH2 Balance

All they serve to do is increase the learning curve without adding any real depth. I fully support replacing vet 1 abilities with unique tailor custom abilities. I have actually been advocating for that almost since launch. Imo the change was in the right direction. The implementation thou was less than perfect. In: COH2 Gameplay
