B4 This unit is the lest effected by the changes to Arty and it need to be looked at. I would also suggest that direct fire mod be changed to a firing mode that turn the gun into an ATG gun with a range of 50-60. Maxim The sustain fire seem oppressive at start and progressively losing power. I suggest a MU increase and discount with each vet level. In: COH2 Balance

No need to buff it. Sure its micro heavy, but thats just the price you pay for its effectiveness- similar to a sniper or the T70. Main difference is that making a micro mistake with a sniper or the T70 results in a dead unit, making a micro mistake with the brumbar means getting 1 kill instead of 5. The brumabr should not be balanced around micro taxing. Else you should be asking for the dozer to have is projectile speed slowed to brumbar level... Speed can be increase and AOE adjusted as needed. In: COH2 Balance

The changes are nice, but won't change anything in that regard. Su-76 probably feels "sluggish" because of the cone of fire that is begin fixed it mobility is inline and its rotation superior to other casemates. I will test a bit more. Imo making KV-8 a call in unit without requiring T4 might create more reason to use this unit. In: COH2 Balance

You have a quick pass that shows the enemy they are being reconed and you only kinda get to aim it and depending on where the target is the planes might get shot down before getting where they are wanted vs invisible, uncounterable recon exactly where you want it. The only thing they have in common is that they provide vision. That "quick" pass allow to call in off map on any target behind enemy lines. Since the can be called in from enemy base and since major get 2 planes at vet 1 the chances of these planes being shot down before revealing lets say a howizter or truck are slim to none. The current patch make worse by allowing Major to call them from enemy base even at vet 0. I suggest you try them in game and see you get the vision you need to call in arty or not. In: COH2 Balance

Imo this thread is highlighting the problem of uncounterable vision and I think these reckon planes fall under the same category especially since they are stock. So I just asked other people opinion. The ability to call planes originating from enemy base is bad to begin with. Since you have re introduces the AA mode for AAHT when in that mode have the gun elevated so that the turret can do a full 360 turn without hitting on cabin so that vehicle does not have to rotate to engage air planes. That should allow the unit to fire in full potential (it might even prove too good.) In: COH2 Balance

M20 Allow the unit to be built with LT only, lower Armor values but lock skirt behind. Pack Howitzer The heat barrage is simply OP and far superior to any equivalent replace some less strong and lower XP value. Reduce damage to ambient buildings it can take a building with 1-2 shots (same goes for zis/Su-76) This unis arrive too early replace with mortar without needing tech in CT and move to major. Major Remove smoke grenade or have it in shared CD with barrage Swap the reckon flight with a use of binoculars providing tunnel vision, planes that provide vision to enemy for off map should not be available (same goes for UKF officer) M8 Scott Remove the defensive smoke the unit has allot of range and does need stock defensive smoke. M36 Jackson Revert the acceleration buff the unit does need such high mobility lower the accuracy once vetted: The values are way to high 0.065/0.0585/0.0455 AP 0.078/0.065/0.052 0.052 is 104% chance to hit pzIV from range 60!!! WC 51 Remove the crew the unit is way too cheap to provide both a vehicle and crew Remove the artillery barrage the commander already is overloaded with abilities and with sight of 50/60 the unit can easily navigate the battle fiend and call arty from a safe distance Lower speed and acceleration 9.4 and 3.5 are way to high, add mu cost to step on it or make mark target the vet 1 ability Change vet bonus to reduce pop with vet bonus Allow the unit to be "refitted" for m3 LT Grenades now share CD CT Now has access to grenades In: COH2 Balance
Thread: [Winter Balance Update] OST Feedback27 Nov 2020, 21:56 PM Grenadiers ... - Received Accuracy bonus from Veteran Squad Leader removed This change will probably make 5 men vet grenadier lose to 7 Conscripts which does not make allot of sense. Why not ditch the 5 men upgrade and replace the with "new unit" with 5 entities that can be better balance. Increase the CD on med kit for 5 men grenadiers but make the effect start instantly for all med kit. Replace med kit as vet 1 ability with some thing else like a HE grenade. Osttruppen Osttruppen are being adjusted to arrive onto the battlefield slower than they did previously. This change, combined with the Ostheer tech changes should make Osttruppen strategies less dominant in smaller game modes. Osttruppen are also receiving boost to any weapon they pick up when they are fighting from cover which should improve their late game fighting potential. - Ability recharge from 25 to 35 - When in cover, Osttruppen will receive +25% accuracy to slot items, partially negating the innate - 50% they have on slot items. Cp 0 call in infatry are greatly affect by maps (best example rail and metal south) I strongly advice to make these unit build-able from HQ instead. In addition ditch the LMG upgrade, provide an upgrade similar to 7 men conscript or make the able to be refitted for a different version with target size 1 and merge or replace the Lmg with some AT rifles. Make the Osttruppen reserves an AT squad Brummbar Bunker Buster Barrage Given the strength and power of this ability, it is receiving a munitions cost to better reflect its power. - Munition cost set to 30 If you add a MU cost decrease CD which around 2 minutes Ostwind Lower cost, lethality and increase anti light tank perofmance by increasing accuracy 222 Replace 222 with 221 making 221 cheaper with less AI but good vs micro light vehicles and with better armor Redesign 222 as a soft anti light tank vehicles with more armor less AI Fix incidary stuka bobming Doctrinal Remove Stuka bomber from elephant commander Make spotting scopes a timed ability or directional vision ability Replace jager infatry upgrade with new reckon squad Redesign ST as 5 men infiltration unit as a support unit C.
