Yeh since GCS balance patch, they are a lot more fragile, especially vs tanks. But range is still decent (same like live-version mortar pit I think), so it's not too hard to keep them alive

Yeh this and OKW vet 4+5 that often give broken passive combat bonuses on units, instead of timed abilites you must activate yourself such as sprint or special shots / grenades etc. which would be much better design! And King Tiger still not locked behind Command Points! In: Lobby |

Plus, because Calliopie and Land Mattress are garbage, they are pretty hard to counter as allies. 8?! cmonBruh me and Hooligan are not that crazy ![]() It was 4 LeIgs that game, 2 of each OKW player. And land matress is definitely not garbage at all. It still has an insane amount of rockets per barrage, and the rockets wipe very decent. And that for 8cp and 350mp/50 fuel! Yep OKW will be even better. Leig needs a nerf and whole mechanized needs a small nerf as well. Yeh this and the scatter on stuka rockets actually HELPS you to hit (mobile) targets. Besides that the scatter really doesn't do that much, it still is a kinda clean creeping barrage, but now the rockets are much harder to dodge cos they are not so predictable anymore In: Replays |

In the current version of Fall Balance Patch, even OKW will struggle vs this because ISGs will have less auto-fire- and barrage- range than 120mm mortar which is out of scope. 120mm spam might become the new soviet teamgame meta if this unit stays out of scope. In: Strategy Desk |

So whats the deal with the walking stuka now? The pinpoint accuracy from (vet 0) stuka on any range made it 1.) OP vs support guns since they usually were not able to dodge the barrage in time, even if you react immediately. (+ keep in mind that a Stuka can hit the field very, very early compared to other rocket artillery) On top of that, the stuka rockets often instantly destroyed crewed guns, even if they were fully repaired (which seemed to be a bug since you can't destroy support guns while they are crewed, but only damage them to 99%) and 2.) very inconsistent and weak vs mobile infantry, with one exception: So called "clusterf*ck" maps such as Trois Ponts or Semosky, which are like stuka-heaven Let's see how this new scatter behavior affects these 2 issues. I just hope that AoE hasn't been decreased too much. A direct rocket hit should still decrew a support gun and cause severe model drop to inf squads ![]() In: Lobby |
