How have you been able to save the replay? Usually a sync error is being followed by a bugpsplat, so you can't save the replay. And I also dont get how a replay helps vs sync error reporting since you can't see it in the replay. Btw I dont know if it's true, but I have heard there is a high chance to cause a sync error if you leave a match through Alt + F4. Relic pls In: Replays |

Pretty sure it will be the CoH2 commander system again. Because 1.) only 12 doctrines in the entire game (3 per faction) like in CoH1 was causing very low diversity on meta and strategies and 2.) with the CoH2 commander system it is possible to milk out more money from the customers since most of the commanders are paid extra content. And this is clearly the direction that SEGA as well as the majority of the modern gaming industry is aiming for sadly. However, it's possible that we will see even more diversity if the commanders are designed like in the CoH1 Blitzkrieg mod, where each doctrine has around 20(!) abilities I believe, but where you can choose only 80% of the abilities due to limited amount of CPs (--> more decision making). It would be balanced if those 20 abilities would be small but useful upgrades to your strategy instead of broken call-ins and broken off-map strikes like we have in vanilla CoH1 and CoH2. In: Lobby |

About soviet snipers: I actually like the idea of a sniper not being designed as a "all or nothing" unit, but that can actually bleed you a lot manpower if you lose 1 of the 2 models. Soviet snipers are atm just slightly too durable and you can't countersnipe them easily. A possible fix would be: - increase their received accuracy penalty a little bit - if both models are within the range of the OST sniper, he will always focus the model with the sniper rifle. If the model with the sniper rifle gets killed, there is a 5 second delay until the scout holds the sniper rifle --> no more unfair insta counter snipes. In: COH2 Balance |
