Thread: How to counter brits11 May 2017, 15:10 PM Double LeiG is certainly the way to go - the "Ready for Another Round" 25% Reduction on Barrage Cooldown Bulletin helps a lot too in this regard. The key to Brits is pressure pressure pressure - keep forcing him to Brace and don't give him time to repair. Have a Raketen on standby once you see he's braced - once it wears off attack and the emplacement will go down quick. If he has a lot of Emplacements consider using the Fortifications Commander and build a LeFH Howitzer and use that. If you can bank 300 Munitions then Zeroing Artillery also is very good too (keep in mind you need to keep vision for it to work). In: OKW Strategies

Yikes. o_o Depends how you look at it - Guards are more accurate with PTRS but Conscripts (Tankhunter only) deal the extra 7 damage per shot that actually lands. Overall a Guards squad with DPs is going to outperform a PTRS Conscript but you have to pay for that extra DPS. Personally I find that Guards are less of mid-late game comeback unit now - before you could kind of get away with calling in Guards as you lost squads and they would do pretty good - but now with all the nerfs they struggle hard against Vetted Infantry. This is a good idea - At least from a 1v1 (and to some extent a 2v2) perspective you'll often see Calliopes being used as a point blank squad wiper that is hard to dodge. Nerfing the Armor and HP is one way to discourage this but I think if you change the angle of the shot to something closer to the Panzerwerfer - which shoots up and the rockets fall down then the other player has more time to react. Right now the trajectory of the barrage for the Calliope is low enough that the travel time is pretty fast. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Teamgame dominant meta3 May 2017, 13:50 PM In case anybody really wants to defend Stuka Dive Bomb check out this oldie but good thread by Mr. Smith that explains why the old Stuka Bomb ninja buff made it too good for its cost - https://www.coh2.org/topic/53665/rebalancing-the-stuka-dive-bomb Edit - I would also like to add that Support weapons are also very difficult to dodge the Dive Bomb with when you consider the pack-up time vs. the delay of the bomb + its insane AoE + the extreme likelihood you are microing other units and can't respond instantly like the ability currently demands you too.
