Frag bombs and IL2 PTAB strike |
It depends on the situation, really.
Yup I agree. Was objecting against "will lose everytime."
But that mg42 scenario I don't see your point. MGs are specifically designed to be bad against heavy cover? Rifles should win that? You still have a chance anyway with nade assault. If they dodge they are immediately suppressed
If someone had to change them nerf early game and buff scaling. But to me that makes them more bland, they are meant for early game strength. Plus they already gave us 6th man |
AGrens closing on rifles in cover, from max range, will lose every time - and will often lose enough models while closing that they'll be forced to retreat before they do any significant damage (if any). Meanwhile, the rifles in cover won't be suppressed by the MG, due to the suppression reduction from being in cover.
You mean they will lose if they don't use sprint
Agrens are super strong right off the bat, but even with 6 man upgrade they still fall-off as the game goes on. That's what makes them balanced imo, but their opening strength is very good |
I play 2v2 and imo they've removed all the maps a KT was good on. Ettelbruck station, dusseldorf, trois points were all solid KT maps. They were all urban so much harder to counter KT with TDs
I don't know about 3v3 and 4v4 but in 1v1 you likely can only afford it if you're already kicking ass. Thats my general feeling anyway |
There was never a reason to build PTRS conscripts EVER (unless you count when they used to destroy support weapons).
I think they're really strong tbh. Camo + AT grenade assault is really effective. You also keep oorah which helps for the snare a lot |

Okay, I'll spill the beans.
Someone discovered that if an Ost player spammed 9 right-clicks on their artillery officer, followed by 2 backspaces, while "For Mother Russia" was active, the artillery officer could force all nearby Soviet infantry to dance the Babushka. It was first viewed as relatively harmless fun, until a wardrobe malfunction revealed that one of the Penals was wearing women's underwear. Then it had to be hot-fixed.
Lol well played sir |
Keep it as is. I second blueknights point about having a bunch of cons and then choosing the commander |
You really should be keeping them behind cover anyway due to their 1.25 model size!!!
+1 to this. Even if their offensive stats were better outside of cover, they'd still be dropping like flies
They should be nerfed a bit early and buffed a bit late I feel.
Maybe make them 220 manpower, but improve the LMG upgrade.
If they do need to be changed I like this approach |
S
1. Make ost pios cheaper 10mp after every researched battlephase so that if a player loses them they will need to sacrifice a bit less manpower rebuing repair units thus making infantry game lost or leaving vehicles unrepaired.
Just reduce the vet requirements. There's nothing wrong with their cost |
While adding 'merge' to more squads would be interesting, I don't think it could be implemented well into CoH2. Perhaps in CoH3, it will be possible keep vet and other stats at a per model level, so that merging would have more trade-offs. "Weapon Proficiency" would also be an interesting stat to have, to give trade-offs when merging with weapon crews (why would a gren be trained to use an AT gun or Allied rocket arty?).
I would add that im a big fan of the weapon proficiency idea. Stolen/re-crewed weapons being less efficient would be an interesting feature. Maybe return the default "proficiency" of a re-crewed weapon after they return to base or pay a small cost or something |
