Thread: DLC Business Ethics - Making a Stock Unit Premium 19 Jul 2015, 22:27 PM I play Coh2 a lot. Next to CS the only game I play. Since they introduced the warspoil drop system I got: Osttruppen Commander Fortification Commander for OKW (Pak43 one) T-34/85 + IS 2 Commander Jäger Infanterie (lol, standard anyway) Opel Blitz Commander (lol, standard anyway) And that was it. A pretty poor outcome if you ask me. Getting the Sturmtiger commander won´t be easy. Now I can use a unit less. The Panzer IV for compensation does not count. If I want a Panzer IV, I can play Ostheer. Effectively I have one unit less. In: Lobby

I can agree with that. It´s obvious that the T-34/76 is supposed to be built in numbers with the fuel decrease to 80. Leaving it at the current popcap would contradict that purpose. In: COH2 Balance

Putting a pop increase on their spammable unit limit the snow ball effect. Even in a 2v2 it's easily to hit the 100 pop, and in that case the okw' pop requirement allow them to snoweball. yes, this is a nerf to the OKW's late game, and the faction needs it. Faction balance needs to stop thinking in terms of phase. Definitely no. If you preserve your units as OKW, you need to be rewarded. Blocking the ability to get further units, just destroys OKW. Currently if you lose one vehicle or a vetted unit, chances of a comeback are reduced significantly - more than with any other faction. With a lot of units you go "all in" as OKW (Early Flak HT, Walking Stuka, Panther, King Tiger). Getting a reward for preserving that vet unit + having other units to support it and thus having a strong army, is the point behind the OKW design. That´s what you get for the resource penalty. Thread: Company of Heroes 2: The British Forces Alpha Infographic16 Jul 2015, 21:59 PM I´m neither under NDA, nor have I played the alpha: So my wild guess is either - no Sniper counter, - or a weakness to flamer pioniers and mortars and maybe Paks. It´s no secret they have emplacements, - or difficulties to fight weapon teams such as MGs and mortars due to a lack of early artillery. Warm or cold? In: COH2 Gameplay

United Kingdom Forces a) makes no sense and b) sounds terrible. Could we just call them something like the "British Army" or the "Commonwealth"? USF is kind of acceptable (USA (United States Army) would be better) but seriously, UKF? It sounds rubbish. You really think we´re going to type out "British Army" all the time instead of UKF? Thread: Sandbags Sandbags Everywhere15 Jul 2015, 09:52 AM I agree. Blocking with sandbags has become a huge problem. This here costed me the game as I couldn´t crush those sandbags until T3. They blocked the retreat path and totally locked down/crippled any serious advance on that part of the map. For free. It'll cost 145 fuel. That 230 armor doesn't come for free. Also for OKW P4 skirts were never part of vet, it was always upgrade. Are those numbers set? Well, Ill just save 30 fuel and get a Panther. I thought the skirts might be free, because until now the OKW Panzer IV was underpowered and they tried to make it attractive. Further with the fuel penalty nobody will build a more expensive Panzer IV to handle one medium. In: Lobby

Thread: Patch July 21st preview with Dusty and Luvnest13 Jul 2015, 20:05 PM Glad to see those changes. The Command Panzer IV aura finally got fixed. It has always been a clumsy feature with the sectors. The best thing is the change to OKW though. Finally you have some reliable midgame omni purpose tank. And it´s even better than the Ostheer Panzer IV. Curious about the Ostheer artillery changes. At veterancy 2 the Panzerwerfer gets -20% scatter, so it might be viable sooner with the easier vet gain. Though it will still be total shit at vet 0/1. 105 might be good at area denial. In: Lobby
