Luckily we were double OKW and he gave away his strategy with a Bofors bulletin so we could prepare. Yet even 4 LeIGs struggled to bring the mortar pit down. Counter battery shoots non stop on the LeIGs. I´m fairly sure that if we had even one Ostheer in the team it would have lost us the game. Feels bad man. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Improved Emplacements Commander25 Mar 2016, 11:18 AM I agree. That commander is overpowered. Added to that it isn´t in the slightest way fun to play against. I think there is no denying that now. The next logical question is: How are they going to fix it? A redesign of at least the commander is inevitable. Simply nerfing it isn´t going to change the fact that it is not fun. The regular emplacements are already ruining everything. So any commander that improves emplacements even further is going to destroy the game-experience. Thus I think only a total redesign would fix the issues at hand. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Cancer Emplacements Commander23 Mar 2016, 21:08 PM Yup, just finished a game of tower defense. Built 2 mortars, flamethrowers Paks and even killed one mortar pit. Only to face 2 Bofors and another mortar pit 10 minutes later. You need two to three minutes of constant bombardment to kill an emplacement. If it´s a mortar pit you can´t do anything as it will kill your mortars faster than the other way around. If you reposition it will be repaired. At some point the Brit can simply build them faster than you can destroy them and then the emplacements synergize. This shit is a fucking tumor. The metaphor is perfect. Time for a break again. Most of the 2v2 maps are auto-win with this commander (P2W again). It requires zero user input and can easly decide games, why is this in the game?? Ok, to stay constructive... I´ve always opposed emplacements. And before they introduced that commander I already warned what would happen. It can be countered. But the annoying thing is the incredibly high micro tax on the Axis players part, while the British player can sit back and has to hit a button and send out repairing squads. That is lame.
