Thread: Addressing some of the issues with Mechanised26 Apr 2019, 19:08 PM If you delay the thompson upgrade on cav rifles no one will use them then we are back to boring rifle spam. They do not scale well they have to be potent early on or by the time they get tommys they will be worthless and be dropped like flys trying to get into tommy position. Good players easily know how to counter them and will hand your ass to you. Could the dodge cost a bit more yes probably a little fuel would be alright. Other than that again its pretty easily countered and if you mess it up you will get your ass handed to you and small arms do considerable dmg to it. Okw is a little weaker at first vs it but not really they can afford to spam a 4x volk start and t0 invisible at gun dodge cant be everywhere at once. Its a cheese strategy that only works on dummys to be honest good players will shut it down pretty quickly. Its a strong commander with a lot of options but not op please dont call for nerfs on a commander just because its viable or we are back to nothing but heavy armor every freaking game almost. I never use mortar ht with his commander or reg sherman with dozer. Mortar ht just delays fuel to get to the real prize which is rushing the up gun sherman. Dont use reg sherman because when you have multiple shermans its a pain in the ass to micro the reg shermans rounds a long side the upgunned sherman changing its rounds. Dont really see a problem with the dodges late game abilitys its not easy to keep that thin alive if you do its more of a kudos to you type of thing. In: COH2 Balance

Apparently you can read because Ive played hundreds of games with every allied faction, and some with axis in arranged team as most my games are in arranged team. It takes just as much micro to decrew the tank and put the crew back in if not more as it does for you to hit A and click on the tank. So you want to punish USF for using good micro to cause you to miss a shot because your micro isnt as good. Makes sense. As well as huge risk even the few seconds the crew is out, assuming you use combined arms the crew could get hit by indirect, pinned possibly by an mg or call in, sniped by other infantry, hit by another tank 1000 ways it could end up bad by doing that. I usually do it when the opponet is raging and trys chasing my sherman deep behind the lines for the kill shot on my sherman, I decrew block his shot he ends up losing panther etc as he ran into zooks snares at guns etc for the ultimate ROFL. Tank crew does not pop out in nano seconds there is a delay. Mostly what it does is make there turret barrel move to another target assuming another vehicle is near by until you click A and target abandoned tank there is plenty of time to do that. There is not guarantee that it will waste your tanks shot another enemy vehicle would have to be near by assuming you are using vehicle fire only. As well even if your tank is not on reload odds are it will have to take time to turn its turret to fire at other enemy vehicles again giving you time to simply CLICK A and enemy the vehicle they decrewed. I know what strategies are the most popular commander choices etc. it is what you do if you want to win to be prepared to counter them. It is also not about axis vs allies etc that you are making it into. We are talking about the elephant and the comet tanks (comet in another post), i was informed you do not have a single game as brits then why are you even commenting on the comet tank if were going to use your logic? As i stated before and similiar to what shadowlink said the old elephant was borderline un-counterable and you wish things would go back to the way before when that was so. In: COH2 Balance
