It's sort of like spamming Grenadiers to fight Riflespam. Not saying it doesn't work, but I would hesitate to call it a counter. Elefant and Jagdtiger are the only two units that really say "hard counter" to me. Yep, this. Maybe a JP4 also. Your only other hope is to destroy them as they come before they hit critical mass. Kat is good, but, as i wrote it comes too late. 2 or even more minutes difference is significant and have very big effect in close game. And the main question is why you want give ostheer free mid game without building quad? If they are not desperately bad you would be pushed from map with ht+grenblob and i wish you luck retaking your cutoff with t34/76 which would miss 9 of 10 shots. Useless may be too big of a world but for me sov t4 overshadowed by t3. The same could be said about Ostheer T4. For Ost, everything T4 does T3 does for a lot cheaper and arguably better. Katy comes a lot later now, yes, but I don't find that to be a good talking point. The Panzerwerfer has *always* come late, and it has sucked balls for a long time, too. USF has a weakish late game, but mainly because they bleed like crazy. I think if they fix the bleed it will get better. Thread: Ostheer T4 Viability3 Aug 2015, 19:56 PM IMO Sturmpanzer and Panzerwerfer are just too unreliable for cost. I'd much rather build an Ostwind to deal with infantry which is 60 fuel cheaper, has a turret, fires directly (doesn't lob), has a high RoF, can shoot down planes, etc. The Panzerwerfer is only really effective and reliable when used at point blank, which kinda defeats the point of it being "artillery." Panther is Panther and is solid. Really, T4 just gets overshadowed by a cheaper and much more effective for cost T3. StuGs, Ostwinds and P4s supported by an eventual heavy tank I find to be a lot stronger (and cheaper) than anything involving T4. In: COH2 Gameplay

People of all ranks can have good ideas for balance. @Loki I appreciate your suggestions, but I don't think the USF need such drastic changes, however, you are definitely right about the USF needing some diversity. As mentioned earlier in the thread, a T0 mortar would likely help the USF in the early game. Late game, yes, their AT options are limited, but properly used Jacksons are very potent against heavy armor, especially when supported by an AT gun and/or P47's. Hence why Captain and Airborne are generally the go-to for USF. In: COH2 Gameplay
