The 45 munition Bren Guns for Infantry Sections were pretty controversial when they first hit. I stopped using them on anything but Commandos, using Sections more like long range Penals.
Now everyone's had more time to get used to them, what are people's thoughts?

They seem alright.
The grenadier's MG42 upgrade increases one squad member from 2.25 to 8.93 (4x better) at long range for 60mu. The Bren increases one member from 2.89 to 6.86 (2.37x better) at long range for 45mu. Considering you can get 2, the Bren adds 4.74 guys worth of firepower for 90mu. Lowering the price to 40 would be reasonable. Maybe the high durability of the Infantry Sections makes up for it, though.

Is this the in-cover or out-of-cover DPS? I don't know which Cruzz took as a base although I'm assuming it's with the 'bonus'.

Tommy do not get a bonus when in cover they get a penalty when out of cover (*1.4 reload and *1.2 cool-down). So cruzz's numbers are when tommies are in cover.

I equip them if I have muni float, they aren't awful but its not a game changer to have double brens anymore.

Ullu...maybe work on your reading comprehension a little bit, I don't see a single person calling for buffs here or even tacitly implying they need a small bump.
I think the brens are likely fine but I have been copying a few Brit players who opt for grenade tech and 5 man upgrade first.

Funny because when I did tests tommies vs grens OUT of cover at short, medium and long range 4 man vs 4 man and the british tommies won every single time.

Well then, upload a replay with these tests.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

If my calculation are correct this is DPS of Gren K98 vs Tommies Enfield taking into account target size at range 0/10/20/30:
Gren vs Tom 4.61/3.50/2.70/2.08
Tom vs Gren 4.11/3.68/3.22/2.75
So tommies have an edge even when out of cover at range above 0. In addition their DPS is probably a bit higher in 1vs1 scenario because the Enfield hold 9 bullets that should be enough to kill a grenadier model so they will probably not reload and suffer the penalty.

funny thing i did it too, posted the replay even with yellow cover at max range gren lost, u could look trought my post history to see them
Well then, upload a replay with these tests.
not saying they need nerf is just that im still bugged out about that, it just doesn't make sense
