Stormjäger Doom blobs are a meme, nobody was gonna do such a thing in a tourney. I think a lot of people played with their most comfortable factions which are usually Soviets and USF. I think the absence of AshaBlois, McBain, Tightrope and CreatifeName led to the lack of UKF picks which didn't allow a good look at the faction's power level. I also think Noggano screwed himself over in the finals picking UKF over Soviets/USF. His Soviets play in the 2019WC was exemplary. Overall we'll have to wait and see in the next tournament. I'm wondering how we arrived at the standard wait and see approach from advocating for pretournament hot fixes and balance team shufflings just a few days ago. Sure, it's early in the meta and more data helps us form a more complete picture, but I think a decent portion of the community is just tired of a large contingent of players crying wolf. Thread: Introducing the CoH2 Build Order Project!15 Apr 2020, 22:46 PM This is definitely a lot more complex to do but capping orders on certain maps would likely be just as helpful as knowing which units to build early on. It's very outdated at the moment, but I still think fondly of DevM's USF guides which drew ms paint lines on maps like Crossing on the Road for capping orders. In: Lobby

Stormjäger To be completely honest, I can't see how you can't interpret calling for the mass resignation of the balance team for potential imbalances from the recent patch as anything other as anything other than disrespectful. If you wanted to keep this discussion about the perceived power level of sections and the UKF faction as a whole, you would have stuck to numbers, clips, and arguments rather than purposefully derailing your own thread for an opportunity to get on a soapbox. Maybe competitive tournament players have 100s or 1000s of hours on OKW/OST/USF/SOV and didn't want to commit to learning a comparatively newer faction. Either way, having seen the changes laid bare from the last patch, I don't see how this scenario has resulted from an obtuse, careless overbuff. In: COH2 Balance

So I don't know how valid this really is. IMO we should just wait for the Cohrona cup first and see how it goes then the balance team can release a hotfix based on some solid competitive games. I'm with you here. Brits are considered very strong at the moment by the general community so I'm sure competitors gunning for the prize money are refreshing their Brit strategies. Any changes they need would just be statistics related to damage and RA to sections for the most part, I would suspect. In: COH2 Balance
