Always have been. They're better vs OKW than Ostheer though due to the effectiveness and low price of the StuG compared to the JP4. Futhermore pak guns vs raketens. Raks can get wiped fairly easily with the grenade ability and paks have TWP.

They will decimate p4s, and go toe-to-toe with panthers. You also don't really need to worry about panthers so much, since the panther can't deal enough DPS inorder to deal with the massive HP pool.

Get a firefly behind them. Ruin somebodies day with that.

Might be good in 1v1s but anything else like 2s onwards they become meaningless as the utility is wasted as the panthers hit the field faster and in multiples.

MK7 is seems good only because of how bad Comet is.
AVRE and croc are nerfed to meme level and only biggest of noobs will have problems against them or claim they are any good.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

They are highly situational.

If you dominate the game and have more ressources than your opponent they are actually pretty good, especially if your opponent already build a P4 and wont have fuel to just spam Stugs or get 1-2 Panthers.

If you are on the back foot they are useless because of how long it takes to keep them repaired and because they can´t really help your already struggeling AT department in dealing with multiple Axis tanks.

Generally UKF lacks good late game tanks IMO. AVRE is decent compared to Sturmtiger but Croc and Comet are underwhelming. Firefly gets really overrated, reloads forever, bad mobility, munition heavy Tulips that you can really only use if you have lots of map control. Give me SU85,JP4, Stugs or Jacksons over it everytime.

As Shadowlink said, always get either 2 AT guns or a Firefly to support your Churchill.

No you're still better off with comet/cromwell and firefly/6pdr support.

Even if the churchill wasn't terrible the speed of it prevents you from exploiting larger maps.

Crocodile just seems like Relics punch bag tbh.
