Churchill armor

Someone tell me please why Churchill have a less armor (240 in game stats) than Comet (290). I know it was 280 earlier but still less than Comet. In real life Churchill has 152 front armor when a Comet just around 76. Church should be more armored but less HP isnt it?

less HP then 800? ..... right now after the price nerf, churchill perhaps should gets some of its armor value back, but relic is on the train of nerfing UKF, so
First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think

The armour the Churchill has now in enough in my opinion. No need to change it at all.

Take away the auto nade, make it manual so it cant Yolo PAKs, give it back a higher armour stat.

So in other words, leave the nade as it is right now.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

I think the Comet has a lot of armour in order to differentiate it from the Firefly and Jackson (and I understand the need to do that), but from a historical aspect it drives me mad. It should have similar armour to a P4 or a sherman. It kind of breaks the immersion to have a little medium tank that looks exactly the same as every other medium tank bounce these massive shells all the time. But yeah, its not the Churchill with the strange armour value in your example, its the Comet.

It was nerfed because before it Churchill was too cheap for its insane armor and HP but now that they nerfed its cost too... meh feels overpriced.
I think they should either give it back some of its Armor/HP or reduce its cost slightly. Feels rather like its under performing for its cost now.

He's thinking of Pershing I assume
I love that Rear Echelon that gets inside the tank at vet 2 and uses his rifle nade

Just fyi, for all of you realism lovers:
Tiger I has 100mm effective armor,
Panzer IV F2 50mm effective armor,
Churchill mk.7 152mm of armor.

Panzer IV F2 50mm effective armorWhile that is true, the ingame version seems to be the Aúsf. G with 80mm hull armor. The turret remained at 50mm however.
On topic: The Churchill armor could really go up a bit. It should be better armored than a Tiger at least.

Ostheer has the f2 and the okw has the J version.

Permanently Banned280 was just fine. All they needed to change was veterancy requirements, and grenade profile.

Ostheer has the f2 and the okw has the J version.
From the time the game is set, the Ausf. G makes the most sense. Panthers on the field means Ostheer is set post the battle of Kursk.
Further there was no Ausf. F2 with skirts, while the H was pretty much the G + Skirts. Also the gun always stays the same (was the same on G,H,J. The F2 had a slightly shorter gun).
Thinking of it: Didn´t they just replace the Ostheer P4 with the Ausf. J also? In that case it still has 80mm hull armor.
