This unit is OP now in terms of cost-effectiveness.Its massive pen buff allowed it to replace su-85 to a large extent..it is DIRT cheap,has 60 range (more than stug ).But worst of all is that it counters its counters.Anti-tank guns are a common counter to tank destroyers,but often this unit will barrage out of darkness.
Barrage frequency is high.
Barrage costs NOTHING,unlike zis.
Either -
1.Increase cost of unit
or
2.Munition price for barrage
or
3.Range to 50
or
4.Penetration reduction(pz 4 has 110 penetration)
In 2 vs 2 soviet spam it every game.

That su-76 overperforms for cost i think is known by now.When they buffed it range should hav been reduced or barrage given a cost.

Its like saying pzwerfer is OP now. Both units were trash and both got slight buff. Now both are quite ok but very cumbersome to use and su76 is also either very micro intensive or dead. If it got any of the nerfs you propose it should also get more health and/or much faster rotation.

su76 is fine. the barrage is highly inaccurate, unless you are using it from medium to close range.
Axis doesn't have the best AT options in the game

For the barrage to work you have to be point blank, with new damage models to buildings it will not displace MG's or infantry in buildings either. Its highly vulnerable to infantry based AT, AT guns, has low Armour/HP and no turret. Non Issue.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.
