Kat is a must to deal with blobs and statics positions (mgs, bunkers, mortars). These are 100% things you will find in any match.




No it is not a "must have" it is not even that good at it. Katys are used best for stomping those pesky 4 squad lmg gren squads or tripple sniper builds, that often only gets dangerous when pooled with good armour.
Su-76 are a more effective way of knocking mgs and bunkers.

M5 will deal with mindless A-moving grenblobs (advance with a pak and your golden) Su-76 will break them up. However that goes out the window in late game, with Panthers and such.

Only then will you need the Katy, if the grenblob is still on the field your M5 will be knocked in the next attack, with the grens supported by a Panther and instead the Katy will take on the roll of deblobbing the enemy. Whilst your SU-85 deals with the Panthers.

You have now a soviet faction with early, mid and lategame, I suggest you combine all three for best result.

Su76 and M5 for me is in top 3 soviet worst units. top 1 worst unit is surely penal squad.
ZIS >> SU76 and it doesnt matter what units you are facing.
Pak is a hard counter to SU76. It has much longer range and dps.

Jagpanz, if facing su76, gets free vet5 and becomes invinsible.

No, because T3 does not cost the same as T1 or T2. A T1 + T2 approach would be cheaper and thus will quickly become the metagame, and T3 would be dead again.

As I ve said
It wont be dead vs abusers cuz fast T70 is only way to punish heavy T1 play.

Plus they can make T4 available after you make at least 2 T1 units and 2 T2 units. This will prevent fast tech to medium tanks.

you must haven't use SU76 to anti blob, yes 1 SU76 is not enough to anti blob, but once u got 2nd one, the two SU76 barrage at blob path together, it hurts the blob so bad on first 2 rounds, if u got 5 su76 like me, you will see only 1/4 infantry alive in my barrage circle after first round, also 5 SU76 will eat any german tanks for dinner. just consider SU76 as a upgrade version of zis-3, that can chase, have free barrage and no setup time, pak40? you saw it back a little barrage it to ground, only trouble you may have is against pak44

M5 worst unit? Even with Quad mount? Then again, the guy did say the Quad has mediocre DPS when it's the exact opposite with a whopping 68.8 DPS within 10m.

I don't think I know of any small-arms type weapon dealing 68.8 DPS within 10m by itself. Not squad, just the one entity alone.

it's not just the Quad have Amazing dps and suppression.
It's the fact the Quad have good 360 degree dps and suppression while retaining mobility and reinforcement capability.

The m15 and the okw AAHT by comparison lack the ability to reinforce troops and need to remain stationary to be an effective firing platform.

Vet3 HMG42 with incendiary rounds have quite similar if not greater dps. At its golden age it had around 80 dps if I remember good.

after SU76 got buffed before this patch, I go for T4 just for SU76, in a 3v3 game my SU76 killed 3 Jagdtiger and a tiger face to face and only lose 3 SU76 in process, don't tell you think Jagpanz is better than Jagdtiger....
