I dont think that everyone will end up with the same commanders, there are definatley a lot of viable abilities that suit different people more than others..

Don't bet too much hypothetical commanders full of late game powerful abilities could beat an hypothetical commander full of early powerful abilities.
And here, don't bet as well you'll have 100% of win vs a commander balanced between early powerful abilities and late powerful abilites.
Give me a mix of:
vetted rifles
reco run
IR Pathfinders
Sherman dozer
And I'll have all I need to counter Axis while the commander remains balanced and without any abilites OP abilites.

/Edit: The Supply and Supply Broken Icons IMO came from the OKW Beta version where all SWS HQ's had to be connected to the main base in order to get more ressources. If they were, the green Icon was used, if not, it was the red one.

How do you know those are Commander Durability Icons? Are they named like that?
Kinda sucks if that's true since it means commanders will deteriorate and need to be maintained. CoH2 needs less pay-for-options scenarios, not more.

There's something with War Effortt in this supply chain image.
If the territory in the meta map has a green chain, you will gain supplyo or if the territory has a red chain, you gain nothing.

the chains are for the in game UI for OKW v1.0.
You could only gather resources from three zones on a map and they all had to have a truck in a sector and they had to be linked to each other.
