The German faction is stronger once tanks come out, which is mid to late game. The Soviet faction is stronger early game.

I play team games so the German is usually more effective. But I like playing as Soviets better. Their units are more interesting.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Soviets. They play like the vCoH Americans, and I pretty much played US exclusively (my support weapon micro is utter garbage).

Germans require more skill. I don´t like that blobbing going on for Russians.

Also German tanks are way cooler than T-34s that were pretty much there to throw them away or clumsy IS-2s.

I play both. Don't really have preferences regarding factions. Would be useful to have this option in the survey.

I prefer the germans, mainly because the Soviets feels somewhat spammy and gimmicky to me. When I play Soviets I mainly exploit the units and tactics I find hard to beat.

I didn't put both for a reason. I'm making you choose, there are way too many people who say they love both, but still play one over the other. Even if it's just a little I want to see which you enjoy playing more, or else i'd get a poll with the majority saying both. So just try to choose the one you have the most fun while playing.

I prefer the Germans. I usually prefer the factions with quality over quantity (although this is not a very strong aspect in this game besides the model count on infantry) and I don't like the way Soviets play with how they more or less have to choose between either Tier 1 or Tier 2 and Tier 3 or Tier 4. Also I just like the German tanks, independent of balance.

I prefer Germans for their design and ease of access to most of their units, as well as the specialization and power they have with them. But in practice I have far more success with Soviets due to their ease of use and flexibility even though you only utilize half the faction at any given time.

I'd actually like to play Germans more, but my success rate with them is far lower than it is when I play Soviets.
