Germany total =! germany on eastern front. They were hopelessly outnumbered on eastern front. They got the nerf because of the good effect with good micro, wihtout hit ground they are useless. Maybe worst AI-weapon in game, because it doesn't hit because of bad target and slow shell. They got nerfed, because you literally point and clicked and whatever you aimed at that wasn't retreating went poof. They got nerfed, because barrage was wiping ATGs with pinpoint accuracy and close to no scatter. They got nerfed, because very high armor and health was too difficult to puncture for ATGs and you can't really spam TDs with their current cost and pop cap. In: COH2 Balance

Dive with Puma, sounds good, doesn't work, he wouldn't have won so many games if it was that easy. Rifles snare, Jacksons and other shenanigans prevent that. It does its job well supporting his infantry advances while staying out of danger, OKW and Ostheer has nothing of the sort, while having elite infantry units that are super vunerable to explosives, like what this thing fires. Is ost mortar ht a late game unit that costed 70 fuel? And yes, they have nothing comparable, just like USF has nothing comparable to stuka zu fuss, panzerwerfer, brummbar, panther, tiger and so on. Factions have different units, they are not comparable, they serve different roles within the armies. And again, its a 70 fuel mortar, not brummbar, don't camp extensively against it and you'll be fine. Lastly, do you speak of 3v3 here? In: COH2 Balance

Oh, and if there is vehicle involved, its no longer infantry fight. Why is this thing left out? Because it doesn't nuke squads in 1-2 shots while being super durable. Dive with puma and just kill it. It has same sight and main gun range. Besides, the resource income reduction will make players have trouble build units to support it. Anyway, I don't think this is a playable unit in current game. Its supposed to be last ditch effort, you call it in when you almost lost and want to make one last counter offensive or when you almost won and need a little edge to seal the game. If you want Tiger to be regular part of your army, pick normal one instead, TA should always be supposed to be last resort. In: COH2 Gameplay

When Relic removed all the vet-skipping I don't get why this unit wasn't completely re-done. But it was! Remember it had ~2500 hp, 320 dmg, AoE more massive then 'your mom', 50 firing and sight range and was as mobile as KT In: COH2 Gameplay

Tiger starts with range 45 and face SU-85/M-36/FF with range 60. You should be asking the same about the Tiger. There is no reasoning behind tiger range buff in the patch notes and it got penetration buff in the same patch, I hardly doubt that both were needed since it was still a buff at a time when allied TDs did jack shit to heavy armor and Tiger already penetrated all of them 100% of the time. Moreover, tanks should NOT be able to contest their own counters through range bonuses and that includes is-2 vs panther, however contrary to panther, allied TDs can't stand the pressure of Tiger dps against them, panther not only can take 2 more shots from IS-2, but can also deflect them. Bonus range to help vs their own counter makes as much sense as giving brummbar 45-50 range, so it can stomp on ATGs easier. Tiger more likely got bonus range to go up against Comets better, but since that time, comet was stomped into the ground and pounded some more through nerfs, so I'd argue 45 range for tiger at vet0 is no longer needed, vet2 bonus up to 50 is fine.
