So if the Obersoldaten has an MP 40 that was statistically identical to the current MG 34, it'd be fine being only theirs? But since the model and sound is an MG, it has to drop? Should FG 42's drop too then? It's an automatic rifle like the BAR, and the BAR drops.
The point is like the Captain's Thompson or Sniper's Rifle, the Obersoldaten MG was built with only them in mind, it breaks if another squad gets access to it.
By all means, yes if it would drop 90% of damage by 15 range. |

AFAIK both Tank Hunter and NOSB are both obtainable through war spoils, several people have gotten them IIRC.
I wish they weren't asses and uploaded some reps with the use of them. |
4 man, 4 G43 rifles, sight range of scout infantry and the ability to scavenge, sprint, set booby traps and deploy from neutral buildings.
Pretty good. Reinforce cost is a pain right now, but they're great to keep around on spotting duty. Vet gets them passive cloak in cover, to boot. No hold fire, though, which I lament.
You forgot about their ability to infiltrate like snipers. |

Cataclaw has also won games using only Engineers and M3's, or Conscripts and T-34/85's, but you're not so quick to call OP on those.
