Guards at best would shoot one volley because of the dance of native guard people they always need to perform before shooting, which involves squatting, rolling and random cover changing. Not saying there is anything wrong with Flak HT, just guards are so ineffective against vehicles, even light ones, that they even lost their description text that used to say they are effective against light armor. Its a doctrinal unit on a premium commander, this means less people would have it. So is Elite Troops commander and its hard to find someone who haven't got the game in the last month and doesn't have it, so it being DLC/drop doctrine really have nothing to do with popularity. If doctrine is good, people WILL buy it en mass, like they did and still do with Elite Troops. This is a doctrine of great risk and reward as you might wipe a squad or two, maybe a tank if you are lucky, but you will loose 600mp you saved up for 3 minutes or more in 2 clicks by a wehr player. That is simply loltastic to watch. And yes, this is bad design given the size of maps, but sadly I can't see it go, so complaining about it is pointless. Moreover, we already got leaks that wehr might get FHQ with retreat point, so that leaves only soviets without one in the future. In: COH2 Gameplay
