Ill partially answer this,OKW is not my favorite but playing against them and watching I've come to these conclusions. I've only played a few games as OKW and have some questions for the people who play a lot of 1v1's. Didn't get an invite. I guess the system was based on a first come first served basis. Pretty disappointed though that Relic chose this over inviting the players who have been with the community the longest and actually know how to balance properly. if you fire a riflegrenade from the rear flank or side flank of a rifle squad thats in green cover thats bunched up=theyll get wiped in one hit from full health as if they werent in cover or in yellow cover If you fire it at a full health rifle squad frontally thats in green cover then the squad will not get wiped at all,theyll lose a model or two and a lot of health,but they wont get wiped unless they were wounded or low on men already. If you fire it at a bunched squad in red cover. they all die. If you fire it at a bunched squad in yellow cover,they all die if you fire it at a bunched squad thats only partially in green cover, and still bunched they'll probably die,depends on how the nade was aimed |

1. Units clump closer together in cover than out of it. So it's easier for low aoe explosives (like nades) to wipe squads in cover. Also, cover provides no protection against explosives. cover lowers nade damage by 50%,but its still directional...so in some cases its actually better to just stay still(if youre fully in green cover) if you get caught by a nade you cant dodge instead of trying to quick retreat to dodge it. |
