Thread: My issue with the OKW.6 Jul 2014, 18:11 PM Agreed, this is the reason I got the Elite Armoured commander, because it comes with Panzer IV's, although they come out very late so it's still not ideal. But, it's more than what you get without them. Plus it's my favourite tank, too. I like OKW, but it's weakness is being a faction of specialists. You're not allowed to have Tanks until very late-game and if you are already winning the resource war. Speaking of resources, having to choose between focus on AI or AT really hurts their potential imo. And it wouldn't be such a bad thing except for the fact that the best generalist tank in the game belongs to the Soviets, and usually comes in pairs. Duel T-34/85's are game-enders for OKW, they annihilate Infantry, they annihilate light vehicles, they easily flank the Jagdpanzer IV. It's very difficult to stand up to them. In: COH2 Gameplay

Also the US players can exploit this by using Lt and equip them with Bazooka ( I have see some players charge their vehicles right into Lt because they think that this squad never equip bazooka but meh, not happening a lot ). it would be nice to show a icon above their head whenever they have M1919, BAR or Bazooka. That'd be neat actually, instead of one weapon being displayed above the squad, the model holding a special weapon has that weapon's icon floating above him. It's either that or weapons stack in the squad bar, like it is now except showing all types. In: COH2 Gameplay

The Americans never used the Sherman Firefly, that was a British invention used by the British Army, and it didn't fit well in American tank doctrine. I don't like Riflemen in T2 though, it'd make the Americans feel rather naked at the start of the game. In: COH2 Gameplay
