That's the point though, US make up for their lack of one-unit-wonders (elite infantry and heavy tanks) by spreading out their combat ability among other units, like Riflemen having Bazookas. This concept doesn't work though if the Bazooka sucks and cannot make up for what it replaces. This is why everyone wants a Pershing, and given the choice would probably trade Vehicle Crews, Bazookas, and Jacksons for them. This isn't really an issue with engies, pios, or RE but sturmpios can repair as can conscripts with specific doctrines. I don't think anyone wants to see players intentionally damaging their base buildings to help boost their con's vet early on. It's pretty clear we're only talking about Engineers and Pioneers, which are much harder to vet up than Sturmpioneers or Assault Engineers. In: COH2 Gameplay

Not only is it extremely unexpected, but it should be statistically impossible. I've never seen it before, but my opponent claimed he's seen it a couple times before. Thread: Weapon Skin Bugs and Ambient Building Bug6 Sep 2014, 20:53 PM Surprised nobody's mentioned this yet, I found it 2 weeks ago but was too lazy to bring it up. Anyway, I'm doing that now because even though it's a small detail, it'd be nice to see it fixed. First on the list: the Panzergrenadier StG. The Panzergrenadier StG uses the CoH1 model and texture, but some time in recent months, the texture sheet has been fucked up. This is what it looks like, compared to the Sturmpioneer StG (new texture, new model), and the original texture. Next up, the Ostheer LMG 42 has a cloned receiver in the middle of the gun for no reason, and the magazine is attached to that instead of properly on the real receiver, and there is also a floating bipod off the end of the gun. The bipod and magazine seem to be parented (or attached to, a part of, etc) the second receiver, because if it were in the place of the first receiver, both these items would be in their rightful place as well. Lastly, in many buildings, the infantry float above the ground and way above the window. In fact I think it's more common than not to see them float over the window, and it has been since CoH2's release. I do not remember this existing in CoH1. Not a major issue, but still a small bug. But the reverse thing doesnt make sense, giving a reverse command is a pretty micro command, probably as far as it gets. your telling the car what gear to use. The reverse button is there so you can more easily reverse. In CoH1 there was a method of shift-clicking a line of move orders ~5 meters apart, but it didn't always work and was needlessly micro intensive. In: COH2 Bugs

Urban defence became beyond useless after introduction of walking stuka, which destroys 300 mp 60fu fhq (and probably all troops around it) no matter what in first barrage. In fact, this doctrine worse than nkvd now. Just like Tellermines and Reigel Mines are useless against USF because of critical repair. In: COH2 Balance
