This could explain the difference in anti personell effectiveness. But the anti vehicle effectiveness would be better. How can you tell that? I'm interested in what "according to the animation" means. Also the 222 has higher penetration and damage per-shot than the Luchs, which I suppose does support the "AP shots" theory. The 222 has 35-35-35 while the Luchs has 25-20-15. Interestingly, that makes the 222 one of the very few vehicles with flat penetration, along with the KV-8's 45mm. They may be others but I haven't seen 'em. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW Repair Speed5 Nov 2014, 21:06 PM OKW need their repairs because they can't get vehicles as easily. They can't have one Panzer IV on the front while the other is repaired, they have one Panther that needs to be in action as often as possible. In: COH2 Balance

Jump back to quoted post5 Nov 2014, 20:28 PMAce of Swords I'd like to see the 222 cost increased but made resistant to small arms fire, at the moment I mostly find it to be trash, high micro low reward, and I don't ever recall it killing anything on retreat. I wouldn't be opposed to that, maybe the 221 would be worth using then. Unless you're going for the 222 upgrade, it's seriously not worth it. In: COH2 Balance

XD So I guess a better night time than that, hopefully. Darkness is set by the mapper, generally night in CoH is no darker than this: The atmosphere it gives with street lights, headlight, spot lights, etc is pretty neat looking. In: Lobby

Vehicles with headlights barely do anything, and light posts are ridiculously the only source of light on the map. Most grenades do 80 damage on the dot anyway (the standard health of a soldier), even a small reduction would go from wiping full health squads to dealing only severe health damage. In: COH2 Balance

The squad is taking damage. 'In combat' seems to last at least 4 seconds after the last action before they're considered 'out of combat'. In: Lobby
