So what is the best way to fight Shocks as OKW? Especially when they are backed up by Maxims, Snipers, Mortars, and Zis3 Guns? Well that's not a fair question... If something is backed by maxim, sniper, mortar and AT guns you cant counter it. On the other hand, I had success in Stalingrad by building 4 Sturms and run them around in pairs. 2 Sturms counter shocks, the key here is to not close in on them, Shocks DPS is good only at very close range... in mid range sturms are much better.. So by the time shocks close in on you should already have an advantage. The best time however is to simply block this map.. I hate it even when I play allies. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: Jaeger Infantry Effectiveness24 Jul 2014, 05:25 AM oh they're great! I think my favorite infantry. I believe they overpower falchers in anti infantry role, but prefer long range more than them. They get a cute booby-trap point ability for 50 munitions that I did not get to use but I might now since the munition change They get the sprint ability that helps them to engage on their terms they have increased vision size from the getgo (like vet4? volks) Probably my favorite thing! The lack of any grenade ability is a huge bummer. They get stealth in cover at Vet3? but have no hold fire which is weird.. mainly used to salvage vehicles in enemy territory. oh and they are absolute terror to infantry when you put them inside houses. as a side note... Ostwin is crazy good tank to have along side OKW's kit. In: OKW Strategies

I'm surprised not many people use it yet. *Edit: They would die if the trench is destroyed, but it can take a beating for sure. Whoa... it gets range and arc of fire increase? how come? funny I never knew that.. also when trench is destroyed the squad is not insta gibed like they are in buildings. although they do take some damage. Thread: [2v2 vs Sov] When to get a Püppchen?21 Jul 2014, 01:41 AM I think puppchen is better as reaction unit. here is my reasoning and strategy: By building M3 Soviet is giving up precious capping power early game ( he build T1 building and then he will build M3) So you should be very agressive right from the start... use your truck to find his engineers and run your storms into them to prevent them from capping etc. Punish him allot before the M3 comes out because he will punish you when it does... this way when you don't have AT ready for M3 right away it is not so damaging for you as Soviet will be recuperating himself; this way you can take time to build puppchen as a reactionary unit. Same thing (to a lesser degree) applies vs weapon team spamming Soviet. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: Soviet Flamer Truck18 Jul 2014, 01:16 AM So this unit makes me feel helpless for a long time early game. How do you people counter this? I feel that there is nothing I can do against this unit until I get puma. reketenwerfer should counter it but really it just gets countered by M3 itself as volks don't have early AT like grens or Cons to cripple it. I won't even mention the squad wipe potential it has until mid game as it does not need to be scared of anything and can chase units all the way to base. Also I just noticed that volks barely penetrate M3, so only sturmpios(expensive 4 man squad) can damage it early game Allot of the same applies to US early car thing they get from Doctorine In: OKW Strategies
