Aside from rear echelon or not flamer engineer they lose to every infantry units in the game. The bazoka is great to support in AT fight. But does that make them worth it? before I drop them from my builds, let me know if someone is getting good mileage out of this unit and how do they use them. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: How to counter this Soviet strat?12 Jul 2014, 02:00 AM OKW don't have reduced manpower, just munitions and fuel. Fast flaktruck should help you allot against this. Flaktruck can stand up to guards very well, just don't use it as a meat shield. build your medic truck defensively as the mortars truly do hurt. Unless you ran your obers into point blank into penals I really dont see them stuggling You did not mention if soviet gets M3, which is something I struggle myself with early game as it has huge potential to wipe squads. When I play OKW I am able to punish soviet at this point as much as he punished me early game -if I did not let him wipe squads at least. I think that your strategy is getting hard countered by this. Thread: Countering snipers with OKW9 Jul 2014, 21:39 PM Get early flak truck -> take it to his cut off and make him sorry he did not go T2. He has nothing to deal with you at that moment. When he gets T2 or guards to counter your flak truck, Be more careful with it but don't be too shy, get as much punch from it as you can since its value decreases vs soviets as the game goes on Comes down to who micros better mostly. Getting infrared Eye of Sauron helps taking your flak where AT guns or flanks are not. In: OKW Strategies

It's not a problem really, as the medics truck comes soon enough. However, this closes me off from going conversion truck => flak truck build order because the manpower bleed becomes too much on 4-man expensive infantry units. Would be nice if OKW could pay to get healing in their T1 Truck In: OKW Strategies

Thread: I want to like OKW...30 Jun 2014, 06:04 AM I for one am having ton of fun with them, they're just very different. I am really enjoying coming up with counters, weak and strong points etc... I don't feel that their mid game is weak at all btw. You asked a very general question so ill give general tips, use hard counters to what your opponent builds (infared halftrack helps allot here). Don't try to save up for king tiger. Don't meat shield with your expensive infantry. Not losing units is important for all factions but even more so for OKW. Get arty halftrack or sturmtiger against weapon teams... lol In: OKW Strategies
