You must really like fire...
Hahah, you got me there! Maybe I should make every fire upgrade as part of my base strats. |
wow ... just wow.. you people seem to have no problem with veteren units being killed on retreat so easily.
its no use.. i request some admin to please lock and delete this thread.
Why would you ask for an opinion if you can't take the opinion?
It just seems that your suggestion is unnecessary for most people. |
I could be, but I only play Ostheer
(Sorry for borrowing OPs thread.)
Out of curiosity, why is this? That you play only Ostheer? |
I don't agree with the OP at all.
Example about the flamers isn't just right. It seems that you need to work with your game observation if this is a problem. Most likely KV8 shouldn't come as a surprise for you. And if it does, then Soviet player has just done something right.
If you are aware that there's KV8 on the field, then you should be extra careful on capping places with your precious units unsupported.
And yes, I do understand what you mean, normal guns don't effect retreating units that well as flames. But this just doesn't seem like big issue. |
Hey Flame,
The Semi-finals + Finals get streamed on Saturday and Sunday.
They will be streamed trough the Rewind Events channel on TwitchTV.
Streams will be casted by myself and Napalm.
More info is coming soon
Cool, great news! Would have wanted to attend myself but as I answered in your(?) poll, weekends are just difficult for me. Will live through the streams then! |
Do you have any plans of streaming these matches in cooperation of SNF twitch channel for example?
Or make casts afterwards? |
Hey man, very good stuff. Interesting to read and pictures are nice.
Although I'm not writer myself or don't have any experience what so ever (on that field), I have small feedback here. I noticed that there was a small recycling of words at the end. Here is what I mean:
"Due to its small chassis, it was a very efficient assault gun in urban combat and was well-liked by the Soviet infantrymen."
"In the Soviet Army, the SU-76 was highly liked by both crews and infantrymen because of its simplicity, reliability, and ease of use."
I know that on the bottom there are different meanings but something I noticed.
Anyways, good stuff and waiting for the next vote! |
It depends on map layout, enemy skill and situation.
Of course it does. My message was just as provoking as Kronosaur0s's. I was saying it's also possible to flank ISU and was asking why did he state that it's automatically gg wp. |
As I said:
Soviet fields ISU. You dont have Elefant? say gg wp
German fields Elefant. No problem, dont go T4/ISU.
And how is it that you couldn't flank ISU? Why it's immediately gg wp?
Someone in other thread says that killing Elephant requires 2x T34 and a flank. I managed to kill ISU yesterday with 2x PzIV. What is this sorcery? |
Solution imo: Decrease range on both the elefant and the ISU to like 75. Give the ISU a higher scatter ratio so it has a higher chance of missing gren squads. Reduce the dmg output of an elefant so that it's equivalent to a tiger, but give it an option to lock down(like the Marder in VCoH) where it is able to deal the dmg it has done before, but be forced into place. (Takes lets say 8 seconds for it to move out of place once it's put into place at w/e time you decide you want to move it). This allows for both units to still be effective, but with limitations. Arty, multiple tanks, etc... will be able to counter it effectively if unsupported/unwatched.
This would be great solution and exactly similar thoughts as me and my mate were thinking yesterday.
However I doubt that they will make this radical decisions. |
