Thread: Too much artillery?17 Jul 2016, 09:07 AM My 3v3 team has been on a loss streak lately, and I think it's largely attributable to LeFH added to OKW. It was a somewhat rare sight previously, but in maybe 6 games we've seen it 4 times. It's not like it's impossible to win, but previously when a game was heavily contested / even through to the mid-late game, we would generally be dodging Stukkas. The LEFH seems to be the last straw that has tipped these games, in combination with all the other units on a typical 3v3 axis combined arms force. I'm a shit player though so whatever. Let's hope the OKW problem is being solved with the upcoming patch. The Brits on the other hand stay almost the same besides the nerfs to the Cancer Commander (thank God). I don't like emplacements, but unfortunately the faction wouldn't be viable on most maps if they were nerfed heavily. If you told me the Brits were getting a big overhaul I'd be happy, because I like the faction outside of the static nonsense. I can't believe they brought emplacements back for the second game since people hated them so much in the first. In: Lobby

While it was somehow balanced with WFA and fun to play, fun to win and even to lose, Brits just took the fun out of playing as Germans. It has never been fun to lose against OKW in team games. Ever. Thread: (may preview) Sturmpioneer Veterancy needs to be looked at9 May 2016, 03:32 AM What happens if we universally change "Stun grenades" to make them cause aoe supression instead of the stupidly bugged stun effect? We already have mines suppressing now, so it should be possible and it would prevent most of what you're talking about. The exact suppression value would need to be tweaked and played with to work out what's fair but you would be able to retreat from it, or stay there and tank the suppression if you have support units ready to relieve you. The reason I propose this instead of the OBVIOUS solution (i.e. "fix the fact that it's buggy as balls and cancels retreats") is because this solution would not require changes that you couldn't do in a mod of some kind, to my knowledge. The modest CoH2 team isn't making engine changes at this point in the game. In: COH2 Balance
