Both the ISU-152 and KV-2 have an "80 damage" radius of 1.01, so anything inside there is instantly wiped. Considering the awful spacing on Grens, that's pretty common. Awful spacing is 1 model clamping bug on Conscripts or old 4 man formations. Nowadays it's a completely different story. I'm glad that we are somehow achieving the point that we are just complaining about what is remaining left in the game but i think people are over exaggerating at points. Just so i don't speak out of my arse, i tested 4 man squad without vet (gren first, pio later) both with and without clumping. I threw some PW barrages to create cover, and made them run and stay still at 60 range. So squad is more clumped than usual. For 2nd test i made pios create sandbags and then deleted those so they are one side by side as close as possible. 3rd test is same as 1st, but with vet 3 grens. Results: 5-3-3-6-4-2-3-4-3-4 Avg 3.7 2-3-2-4-3-2-2-4-2-4 Avg 2.8 4-4-4-4-5-3-6-3-2-3 Avg 3.8 I didn't count it, but killing a model in the first shell was EXTREMELY rare. Best results were generally doing half or more squad HP dmg. In: COH2 Balance

Are those full HP wipes? Wipes will always exist. It's about 1 shot 1 wipe, we used to complain about. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: ISU-152 HE shell range should be reduced?23 Mar 2020, 21:10 PM On one hand i could see merit on reducing range to 60 on HE shells so it gets shot back by AT guns. On the other, i think that's one of the reasons you go for that unit. If you only need an infantry killer you get an IS2 or anything else. It has AT performance but it's inferior to an Su85 due to RoF. You don't get an ISU152 because you need an AT unit. In: COH2 Balance

They are in a class of their own compared to the Tiger/IS-2/Pershing/King Tiger. KT is borderline between a heavy and super heavy. By having more HP and dmg as well. T4was supposed to be a siege breaking tier. Powerful units that you can tech up to and roll out when the game grinds to a draw. The problem is they wanted these siege breaker units to be more accessible and stupidly, an alternative to the standard units so Concessions had to be made. Disregard for design considerations make balance redesigns a messy ordeal. Well, it doesn't help that OKW got an accessible PV as well, which means that both should had similar general base stats.
