They have to wait there and be sacrificed. Shocks just hide in the smoke so re positioning a flack is useless. And HMG's specifically can't reposition in such a scenario. LMGs do this to a lesser extent as well. I really do not know what your problem with shock troops is. HMG's get smoked by shocks, HMGs = useless. Flammers melt rather fast. Thread: Ostheer, the never ending struggle16 Apr 2015, 14:21 PM Soviet is easy-street. Gigantic mistakes can be made and still the soviet player will be OK. Comeback after comeback can be made at any point of the game. It's a no-fear faction. There's never any fear or worry when playing as SOVIET. Axis are the opposite. This is universally accepted as true, it's the real state of things as far back as the games release. Ignoring or pretending it doesn't exist hasn't helped retain the player base much except for the die-hards who stay no matter what (many in this thread). It's a problem. In: COH2 Gameplay

And than they increased it to four? The simple fact that the game released in this manner tells me one of two things 1) They never fully tested the balance even within beta 2) They just hot fixed the situation without real analysis. I mean they only had two armies at the time why was it so difficult or complicated? That is 100% truth! Original design was poorly conceived then begrudgingly changed--only after RELIC could no longer lie to themselves. The situation is still terribly imbalanced. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Ostheer, the never ending struggle12 Apr 2015, 20:42 PM Jump back to quoted post12 Apr 2015, 20:21 PMLemonJuice thats why you should use incind rounds when youre inside a building. the opponent does not see the mg42 reload when its in a structure. in addition the reload is same length as a regular reload. your comment seems fairly amateurish and seems to ignore completely the fact that you should have supporting infantry, and even supporting machine guns to reposition to face units advancing through smoke. Your reasoning is so flawed I don't feel I need to directly address or bother trying to convince you. Fact is AXIS struggle from start to finish, and actually OKW have a much harder time now than OST. SOVIET is easy, stress free play. In: COH2 Gameplay
