The east side has to many disadvantages that's why I think that it is time to give them both a little love. Here are my points: 1)East side cut off much more accessible than the west side on. Solution: adjust them so both are about the same distance. 2)Munitions point on the south side on red cover. Hard to cap and hold (compare it with the one on the north, there is green cover and a house). Solution: maybe remove a little from the hedges and make the small house different. 3)Middle VP is closer to the west side. Solution: bring it closer to the east side 4)East side has the church in the middle but it has a side blocker in front of it and the west side has a house with no sight blockers in front of it. Solution: remove the sight blocker (it's a small hedge and a tree) These things make playing from the east side so much harder, I hope Relic or/and the Balance team can acknowledge this and fix it. It's a shame because these maps are very popular (because there are not that many alternatives, hence balanced maps). I'm speaking just about 2v2 where i use to play: 1) Eindhoven Country was an amzing map, it would be cool to see it again. 2) Ettelbruck is just bad designed. It designed for hold on and arty spam and for 2v2 is just a pain. It might work in 3v3 coz different gamestyle from players. 3) Char'kov must be redesigned or removed..if u start on north side and u gonna play vs a same equal opponent skill u will lose at 100% coz ur fuel it's damn hard to hold compared to south start. 4) Moskow's maps: also if after the DPB redesign they become better they still lack on north side making to hard winning compared to starting from south. Both maps since years are always veto and as i see in WhiteFlash's Company of Heroes 3 isnt only me to veto those maps. Terrible commander system, lackluster tech counterplay, and too many get out of jail free cards for players that aren't good flankers. All that = too many COH2 games feel more like Brits vs Wehr rather than US vs WM/PE. Well atm you don't see brits at all anymore Too risk and you are death vs wehrmacht too often, does no matter if 1vs1 or 4vs4. So its more about Wm+ okw vs soviet+ usa. In: News

We've been continually running into troubles facing British. It seems that once a bofors is up, the game is basically over. The bofors allows for mortar pits, which eviscerate infantry and eventually lead to the total sim city of a map. Even if we take the remainder of a map, it seems that emplacements are often powerful enough to allow for comebacks. We've used separate mortars to attack the pits, we've laid down down smoke for a flame halftrack, we've used the flame mortars on the mortar halftrack — the brace ability just makes it so difficult to take out the emplacements. So, I am wondering if you have any general strategies to beat this British turtling strategy. Thanks in advance. Hey, MG and mortar are your friends vs brits. When you can micro it, sniper is also very powerful in early game. When you fight vs Sim city you have two options: A) Go to the other side of the map. B) attack together step by step the emplacements. 2 Wehrmacht mortar on Max range will kill the bofors, after that attack it. Also when the bofors is in brace you can push with the flamer hft, because the flame damage goes through brace and damage over time. Wehrmacht pak or Stug can help too to kill emplacements. I don't think I've played in almost a year now and don't see myself playing again. That's after almost 10 years of dedication to the series, that's how bad IMO COH2 is/was. After how poorly Relic listened to the community for COH2 I don't have high hopes, but deep down I secretly hold a sliver. That are hard words man^^. It's fine that you prefer coh1, tho atm we have good competitive cups for coh2 and also i think the balance is very well done atm; when i think back... In: News

We got the Age 4 announcement at Gamescom here in Germany. The german age community is one of the biggest age communities at all. Furthermore Europe is the old "core region" for RTS (as far as i know RTS sold better in EU compared to other countries) and Gamescom is no "premiere exhibition" compared to the "all the time a new game announcement E3". So i think Relic/Microsoft were afraid that Age wont get any attention at the E3 with all the new shooters, rpg games, battle royal games and co.. This could be true In: Other Games
