Thread: [DBP] Ostruppen Doctrine feedback thread24 Nov 2017, 17:14 PM after testing the new Ostruppen with their lmgs and without at various distances and vet, vs un-upgraded riflemen and upgraded riflemen, the lmg seems kinda weak. at best the lmg brings the Ostruppen to slightly above par with unupgraded riflemen but only barely, basicly makes them the same. Once you add in weapon upgrades riflemen win hands down every engagement. The penalty seems too much. By the time you can get lmgs you'll be facing vetted and most likely upgraded brit and usf infantry. The bonus damage the lmg gives isn't high enough where it makes it that much better than before. It is better than nothing but it doesn't really solve any of Ostruppen's problems, particularly when you add in the fact that they only stand any chance while in cover and that still doesn't cut it. I would remove from the lmg the -50% penalty. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Relic working on Age of Empires 422 Aug 2017, 17:26 PM So many ways this can go wrong before even adding the relic factor. most notably if is in the same old school rts style of micro-management sim. They need to find a way to keep the heart of aoe while updating it at the same time. add in relic whose rts games have much less economic elements compared to the aoe series and most likely a more modern setting and there is a lot that can go wrong. However there is also a lot that could go right, this could be the shot in the arm rts needs, not sure relic is capable of that though. Most likely though this may be relics biggest budgets ever and they will have learned from dow 3. The only question is what did they learn? In: Other Games
Thread: Eastern Front Armies Revamp 15 Jun 2017, 13:53 PM Was just checking out stats and molotov in live only has a 15 range throwing distance, yet all other nades including okw flame nade (minus rifle nade) are at 20 range. Something small that could help them since the throwing improvements don't come till vet 2 and range increase is no longer in at vet 2. Think it was some change they made back when just soviets and ost and the mg42 was weak or something and just never got changed back. In: COH2 Gameplay
