I have not problem for WM sniper hp... With proper micro, WM sniper cant harmed common small arms fire, because you can use your longer 50 shoot distance, wiht attack move, vs common small arms 30-35 range. The real problem for me in countersnipe meta-game, where WM player can give -90mp drain with a good hit for enemy side, but SU player can with same good countersnipe give -360 mp drain for his enemy. 90mp =! 360mp...
The current sniper vs sniper metagame i think broken... Maybe we can see a good tutorial stream video for DEVELOPER/anyone decent player, what the proper use of WM sniper vs RUS sniper effective? It is would be good...
Other things, the efficiency vs WM sniper on 6 members Conscript, MG-s, Mortars, Guards, ST etc. vs the SU sniper efficiency on 4 members WM squad, Gren, PG, MG, mortar etc... The rate of fire difference between SU and WM sniper for me ingame nearly imperceptible, but the target squad size difference is huge, 150%. I feel this broken too...

Theoretically, the Soviets don't even need to build a building or farm anything other than munitions to gain an AT solution...and one that doesn't spontaneously do 0 damage for some reason often ending the game.
This is what the original topic was about. Who cares about hitting hedges. The faust will sometimes do 0 damage to an M3. Please just simply acknowledge that this is a mistake for the sake of everyone else's sanity. |
Game was alright, you really should not have won, how your opponent managed to let you win i dont know. Seems he pulled a me and did good then cant think of what to do to finish it. If he had put more priority in the VP's would have been a much shorter game.
From watching that I learnt to never buy a katusha, that thing is utter shit, was on the map for well over half the game and only managed 20 kills.
Uh...that's not terrible in a 1v1 for an artillery piece...
I think you'll hardly see panzer 4s in this patch getting 20 infantry kills...well unless they pin or htd squish them. |
Keep in mind you pay to get the AT Grenades upgrade. =) ... Panzerfausts require no upgrades whatsoever.

Also - fix the targeting of the SU85. I don't need to provide a video. It happens every game. Not only does it snipe squads relentlessly, it targets the equipment itself. It can easily destroy a pak, an mg, or a mortar (the actual weapon) because right now, it doesn't target the infantry attached to it. It just pounds the equipment. Why, with the over the top use the SU85 gets, this hasn't been understood/addressed up until this point is really sad.
Panzer 4 was a huge problem though...wait, no. |

I still feel T3 is extremely viable even if your opponent goes T4 and pushes out SU-85's. That said, I typically rely on PAK's to push my opponent's armor back. An Ostwind and a few Grens backed by a Pak or two can be a very valid thread to a T4 Soviet player.

When this happens do you understand why people get upset? There are really debilitating instances like this in this game that turn the game for no reason. The panzerfaust bug can end a game when it does no damage to an m3. I've had that happen to me endlessly, and if I remember to catch it again I'll post up the video but come on. This isn't like some hidden bug that never happens. All you have to do is play the actual game to see how crippling some of these things really are. Yet the top priority seems to be extinguishing strafe and making it so Panzer 4s can't kill a sniper in the open field...
About the actual bug - There seems to be a target priority shift when the 76 moves to artillery mode that causes the pak to target something else (the engis in this instance). Also, why can't it shoot in the beginning of that engagement? A pole? Really?

That's probably because Beta was free. People have a hard time accepting that they paid 60 bucks for something that isn't worth 60 bucks and built on promises of grandeur. It's frustrating. |
They have effectively neutered the panzer 4 into oblivion. Watching it shoot two shells at a sniper to do 0 damage is really fun.

I don't have any idea what you are talking about. I have, however, as recently as last game seen what the OP was talking about. It is potentially game ending if the ht can escape, repair, and continue to kill units because of a bug Relic will not address (or hasn't yet). |
