Coh1 emplacements would be totally useless in coh2. I guess relic wants a feature to be used if they implement it. That was kinda my point. Also, even the current emplacements are only a good way to loose a game if your opponent has a slight idea of what he is doing. The same really could be said about CoH1 too. People don't often disagree that they can't be countered, but they usually agree that it's frustratingly boring gameplay to do so. In: Lobby

Should there be a vehicle that can function like a veritable vehicle sniper? The unturreted nature of the ST (and Elefant) is what lends so much to their lethality. It's a huge strategic implication for the unit that can be heavily exploited by pretty much any turreted vehicle. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: How do i use ZiS AT gun currectly21 Oct 2016, 15:21 PM a fresh panther with a damaged engine from at grenade Considering the panther needs to damaged below 75% to get that critical from an AT nade, my guess is that your two conscripts threw AT nades right out? Both hit with the second damaging the engine? Also, with two conscript squads with the ATGs, if that panther is just shooting at the ATGs, use merge or recrew the ATGs with them. The panther is not that great at killing infantry. Also don't expect your ATGs and support weapons to really maintain vet. They're likely going to be decrewed, which is what those conscripts are for. And lastly, unsupported ATGs, especially a single one, are almost entirely useless. Always pull ATGs back and forward with your forces. In: COH2 Balance

Put a squad not unlike Stormtroopers in T1, give them (double?) panzerschreck upgrade with mg34 as an either-or upgrade unlocked with T3. Or alternately just move Obers to T1, reduce their price and performance to something like Stormtroopers, and give them the schreck(s). Again, mg34 unlocks with T3 (or maybe just 2 trucks setup.) Then you make the MG34 t0 without needing trucks and the transformation will be complete. In doing so OKW will be something between Ostheer and CoH1 Wehrmacht. All you'd have to do then is make vet 4 and 5 for infantry and vehicles unlocked with global upgrades. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Re-distributing the power of USF19 Oct 2016, 22:04 PM I'd reduce LT tier 20 fuel and increase Captain tier by 20 fuel. Then I'd put the mortar in LT. Additionally I'd replace AT nades as riflemen vet 1 bonus with smoke grenades, or just spread their vet bonuses across three levels instead of the final two. Then I'd add a 15-25 fuel upgrade to unlock AT nades for riflemen and the Weapons Rack unlocks along with the LT tier, or the upgrade for would be available in LT tier. OR Increase grenade package 10-20 fuel and include AT nades. Stuart is slowed down by 20 fuel. Stronger incentives for LT tier and a teching upgrade for AT nades also contribute. In: COH2 Balance
