I'm assuming there's no unit added to the roster, meaning the 75mm sherman is what the USF have to work with. and even with 800 hp I believe it's possible to balance out p4 vs sherman using pen and armor. The buff to the sherman's gun from 100-140 hasn't really made it scale that well anyway and I think it can be exchanged for extra HP instead. Taken into large context, the sherman 75 with 800 will work with jackson with 480 hp. In the open the jackson can provide fire support while the sherman with increased hp tackle close quarter. same thing for the Jackson if they get their HP down to 480 HP. puma survival kit is good to get you out of a jam, but it's not going to help you if you go balls down.
my intent was to push Jackson back into a TD role and buff the sherman 75mm instead. increase the sherman health to 800 and it can be a decent dive tank. As a short note, I think the different medium should focus on different attribute to help them scale. panzer 4 get firepower (pen, AOe) with their kwk40. Provide flexible firepower for the more specialist unit. They lack the armor to stand as the front line but their Firepower make them excellent at deterring flanker. sherman get hp and armor with their wet storage and improve late war armor. They serve as cost effective meat power for the allies late game cromwell get speed and evasion. Raiders to support the defensive british. t34-76 would get a useful ram. In: COH2 Gameplay |

the nature of team game is synergy. Dismissing the benefit of bringing in a mixed okw/wehr over a wehr/wehr or okw/okw is ignorant on the one of the major draw of having more faction and team game. Except for grossly overpowered or underpowered faction, mixed faction is always going to be the optimal route. It is the nature of two different faction using their own strength to cover the other's weakness. okw/okw team is not going to dominate a team tournament unless the wehr is vastly underpowered or the okw vastly overpowered. Pursuing okw/okw tourney meta is just seeking to make them overpowered. In: COH2 Balance |

as good as Erich Hartman or Wittman was, producing one or two great pilot or tank commander is not how you win a war.
the panther and tiger are still impractical tank. The powertrain technology at the time is just not advanced enough to supporting a 45+ ton tank. There was also no truck capable of carrying a 45+ tank by itself. the French in post war cite the panther G as needing frequent maintenance. The final drive had an average life of 150km and the engine itself 1000km. The panther G in late war might not spontaneously combust, but it still require frequent maintenance. In: The Library |

okw have jp4. the wehr lack 60m range unit beside the pak, but that's why the jackson sight is limited to 45+5. a lone jackson is still vulnerable to the stug and panther vet 2. There's a reason why Jackson get a hp nerf to 480 in the proposal. this is to ensure the Jackson will still lose in a prolong engagement, but have the tool to retreat. And units like the puma is by nature a high micro unit. People will make mistake, "pro" just make less of them. In: COH2 Gameplay |

i said similar, not same, what did u expect a 185 fuel have the same stats as a 240 fuel unit ? even bias needs to have limits; they have the same role Stats as in statistic itself. Having 30% more hp is different than having 30% more armor or speed. In: COH2 Balance |

the pershing will lose to the panther 1v1, much less the tiger and the King tiger. It's basically another great infantry killer the USF doesn't need. and even in 2v2 the USF are running into problem. The USF tank force might be suitable for 1v1 but they get stomped hard by axis armor in 2v2+. The jackson effectively serve as the USF's best anti-tank unit. and if the USF is overpower in 1v1 there's more suitable way to address the issue beside keeping the USF tanks weak. Team games are as important to the game as 1v1 duel. and regarding the E8. Despite its moving accuracy and gun there's a pretty big flow. It's the slowest medium tank in the game at 6.1 Top speed and 2.1 acceleration. The panzer 4 will out run it. The e8 is still too weak to out muscle the axis heavy and can't really flank them due to slow speed. Diving is also significantly more risky than being able to reliable win in a slug fight. This is still a ww2 game. Tanks are expected to vaguely follow their IRL characteristic. Tiger and panther are expected to be great in a fight because of "realism". In: COH2 Gameplay |
