I however strongly believe buffing the Brit sniper is not the answer. Perhaps the Ostheer sniper needs a re-camo time nerf to allow for countersnipes. There is a huge manpower issue for brits in 1v1. You feel like you have the answer to everything, you just don't have a chance to use it. After wasp, glider, croc and bofors are nerfed, Brits will be in the dark age. a 6 seconds recloak time is simply too long. You could argue that 3 seconds is more reasonable recloak for the ost sniper but the british would still be stuck at 6 seconds recloak time. In: COH2 Balance

Shouldn't we play that patch first and then look for solutions, if still needed? light vehicle lack any durability outside of early game. Any sniper hunting attempt will inevitably be a one way trip. If you can't kill it on the first attempt you're already in the red in terms of resources. What sniper needs is a nerf to their retreat bonus. Even a rifleman have problem killing them on retreat. Also, the british sniper's rof over distance is almost flat, unlike the soviet and german sniper who fire faster as the enemy get closer. In: COH2 Balance

Yes, against Faust from Grens it stinks, but it can punish early Volks effectively. here's a tip on dealing with UC: flank it. The bren gun is fixed foward and the rear armor is weaker. At the least you can put it out of commission until they get a sapper, by which point you should have a raketen and schreck. . In: COH2 Balance
Thread: M36 Jackson vs Firefly5 Sep 2015, 23:20 PM I would rather see the Firefly be cheaper than getting a buff. the firefly is more comparable to the much cheaper jackson without factoring in the Tulip rockets. 440mp 155 fuel for a 640hp and 160 armor is rather unforgiving, regardless of its dps. British sniper have the most elaborate looking camo in the game, but apparently it's as effective as peacock feathers. the 2 seconds recloak time on the german sniper is fast enough to promise one safe shot in most cases. Both the soviet and british take ~2 seconds to merely aim their rifle, on top of the response time of the player. 6 seconds on the british sniper is long enough to make him vulnerable to countersnipe on the first shot. Tommies also have Panzergren Received Accuracy starting right off the bat and when vetted up have .528 rec acc making them at 5 men one of the most durable squads in the entire game. They also can be upgraded with 2 LMG's non-doctrinally. The only thing Tommies need atm is to have their buggy as Scoped Lee Enfields removed, as of right now all they do is give you less DPS. The tommies' capability in Cover is vastly overstated, their lack of strength out of cover ignored, and the availability of cover taken for granted. There's also the fact ost have the mg42/mortar against static troops and the OKW have the Leig. Craters are not a reliable source of cover. it's too irregular and spotty to be relied upon. The tommies need their reinforcement cost drastically. Their reinforcement cost should really be 30-28 per man at the most. In: COH2 Balance

Tommies is only good in the ideal situation. Even the vet 3 offensive bonus barely cover the Tommies' offensive penalty out of cover, if at all. In: COH2 Balance

What you want then? the stug is vastly better than the AEC, and not that much more expensive. 360 MP is a lot for an armored car. Is the su-76 useless after mid game? is the okw puma and the pz2 useless after mid game? Even the stuart's stun round is useful against pziv. the crit ability is also a vet ability. In: COH2 Balance
