Thread: Commandos3 Sep 2015, 10:00 AM might as well redo the silenced sten at this point. given the commandos' bag of trick, they don't need a ultra powerful smg. Even a just one on par with the shocktrooper would be enough given the commandos' durability, grenade, and access to cloak. one fun fact. If you have the commandos pick up a bren from the weapon rack, they get a special bren capable of firing on the move. Obviously you lose some close range dps . In: COH2 Balance

If there's a clear line of sight between me and the AVRE I can usually dodge the Petard mortar. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: To Balance the Brits!2 Sep 2015, 15:18 PM aside from its damage and hp, AVRE would be a lot more balanced if the petard mortar doesn't ignore shot blocker. 35 is short enough range to give the germans a chance to gtfo. Maybe a nerf to 30 range. similar nerf should be applied to the sturmtiger. In: COH2 Balance

I did said mention tommies artillery in my original post. calling the Tommies's 25 pdr barragethe same type of artillery as the mortar/rockets/howitzer is a bit of a stretch. Even the US major's call in howizter is a better example of "artillery". If someone is dug in enough to require the use of mortar/rockets/howitzer, the last thing I would want to do is to get a tommies up close and personal. In: COH2 Balance

They literally have 2 howitzers in their base by default. which require you to spent your tommies into touching distance, and spend 45 munition to throw the targeting smoke. Even then the two 25 pdr takes ages to aim and fire, allowing any mobile unit to simply move out of the way. It's more of an area denial then anything else. Useful to "push" enemy out of the area until you can muster your forces. In: COH2 Balance

He is way more durable than the Ost sniper, and does th most damage per shot of any unit in the game I think. the british sniper have the exact same hp and size as the ost sniper. 82 hp with size 1. Maybe people are just not used to firing at ost sniper considering the ost sniper have predator cloak. Thread: the problem with brits sniper1 Sep 2015, 20:30 PM to start off, let's explain the recloak mechanic for the ost and sov snipers. A sniper's recloak time increase each time he takes a shot, up to a maximum of 20 seconds. For an ost sniper, the recloak time is 2s/4s/8s/16/20s for the sov sniper, the recloak time is 3s/6s/12s/20s for the brit sniper, the recloak time is 6s/12s/20s the british sniper takes too long to recloak after one shot. 6 seconds is enough time for the axis to either focus fire him or simply snipe him. The british sniper needs the same recloak time as the ost sniper, seeing as how they are both one man squad. In: COH2 Balance
