Thread: Changes i feel grens need24 Apr 2020, 11:37 AM Let's look at Grenadier matchups. Vs Cons they do more than fine. When Cons get 7man and get behind cover, less so. When Cons get SVTs, much less so. When Grens get LMGs they do fine. Vs Riflemen they get memed until they get LMGs then they can bleed them from afar. Vs Sections they lose early hard, win after LMG and imo lose once 5man sections get Brens. Overall I don't think they're bad, the main issue with Grenadiers is munitions. Yes the lmg42 and rifle grenades are very strong, but that's a shitload of munis. Don't forget you also need munitions for mines, medic bunker, fausts (have fun with them missing) and s mines. Here's how you fix Grens for good: Nerf sandbags of other mainlines and give them the 28 reinforce cost early instead of T4. Then nerf LMG42s and put their cost down to 45 munitions. In: COH2 Balance

I've been playing around with con-con-T2-maxim but its horrible against OKW, who push your 2 cons of the field with their Sturms and Volks, and then the maxim hits the field while the 2 cons are just back in base for reinforcement. 3 cons, healing, T2, maxim, Guards. The PUMA could be tried to be put at 4CP but i don't think the unit been present on a single commander should be ever be made meta or too reliable. If OH struggles against LV it should be the 222 and pak (recently buffed) job to hold the faction together. It's been proved that with enough pressure and aggressiveness OH players are able to bleed out SU who struggles in the transition between early game towards T70. Well my idea was that if 4CP is too early and 5CP is too late, you can find a middle ground somehow. The best approach in my view would be to put the Puma at 4CP, increase the cost to 350mp 90 fuel, and increase the build time by about 10 seconds. That way it becomes a significant investment, is less of a reactionary pick and still arrives at an early enough point to do its job. If that’s still too good then maybe the commander could be nerfed by replacing smoke on vehicles with a stuka smoke run. In: COH2 Balance

I wasn’t proven wrong. I said Brits OP, this was not shot down at all. I didn’t call for anyone’s resignation, I asked if there would be consequences if the tournament is ruined.
