That's because Nazi sympathizers and white supremacists are naturally drawn towards WW2 fantasies where Germany is portrayed sympathetically or treated like they had a chance of winning.
Lol chill, you check under your pillow at night for scary white nazi's? lol. I would speculate that 99% of people who play german factions in a strategy game are not nazi's. |
I managed to figure out the exact usage of the Scorched Earth Policy ability too late which caused me to post an irrelevant feedback related to the ability itself. Thus, I crossed out the text about the ability so as to remove the misinformation. I apologize for my mistake, again.
I totally agree with your suggestion about Partisans. On the other hand, the actual issue regarding them is that they no longer arrive on the battlefield with their sub-machine guns which causes the Partisan Tactics commander to be useless since that commander used to rely on the element of suprise to harm the opponent.
Just turn on hold fire, put them in cover and upgrade. It's what you have to do for wehr stormtroopers also. |
-Is this ability balanced?
-Is this ability worth the muni cost for what it accomplishes?
-Is this ability in line with similar off map aircraft call ins?
-For me, I used it in 2 games and it appeared to have no effect on tanks or infantry and I didn't lose sight. Is your experience different?
Lets discuss this
I do not have replays, I will try to capture replays show-casing this ability. |
the commando coming as 3 is so dum... very unfair
This, It's stupid. |
british infantry were trained in ww1 (i think) in the ''mad minute'', where they were to unload as much rounds direction enemy as fast as possible, as a form of covering fire.
Why does the brits not have this?
Because the BEF trained the "mad minute" in WWI, the BEF was essentially gone by late 1916. It was dropped as a requirement for earning pay and the nature of warfare changed along with the increased use of machineguns. Giving them the mad minute would be anachronistic. |
Yeah it's bizarre how this ability has been so worthless for so long. The massive received damage bonus is the weirded thing about it. It makes it a big noob trap.
If they didn't have received damage increase, they could solo obers from neutral cover in the late game, for 20 munis, RE spam would become oppressive as for 20 munis, re could suppress any squad and then move into close range and keep them suppressed. Add 2 bars to this which vastly increase the rate of suppression during suppressing fire and you have a recipe for the strongest squad in the game. |
Its not useless, would be op if it was the same pen as zis-3, maybe give it ability to increase pen temporarily against armoured targets, tied to vet or muni cost or both? |
44 ostwinds were ever made, right at the end of the war, 6 were ready by May of 1945.
Relic made it look like it was main AA vehicle of axis since both armies have it, one stock.
Just leaving it out there.
Would you prefer the axis has the Wirbelwind? at least 87 were converted of those. |
I wish they'd stay away from making it like COH1. After going back to it for a few games, having not played in 5 years, it feels so stale compared to COH2. Don't get me wrong, it has some good mechanics, like side armour. The rest is just less refined that COH2, emulating COH1 feels like taking steps backwards. |
When your sprinting troops get shot at while sprinting they stop sprinting and start to return fire.
As someone who uses for mother russia alot in the previous patch, (I would take that doc just for the ability and shocks, never built b4) It didn't stop sprint then. It must be a new bug. |
