This also nerfs the usefulness of those two story garrisons which formally overlooked victory points (ew) and now overlook roads. As they're now not overlooking a point you can give them more health again now. Make the current high muni points the new victory point - these are better suited as victory point locations, nerf some of the green cover a little also. I moved the fuel points into the centre of their new designated area. I changed how the cutoffs work - to make muni's easier to cutoff and fuels harder. Joking aside, just give the above a go, I absolutely guarantee you it would be a better map that way. I demand my genius is recognised! In: Summer patch 2018

I respect what you do as a mapper, but Angoville cannot be chagned so much. If a map had soul, Angoville basically is an entire heaven of souls. let. it. die. Quinn Duffy himself made this map in 2005, it was Company of Heroes' first ever map and used on the original beta. They even spent thousands on having a model builder make one a minature version of Angoville. Just let it stay in CoH1 where it belongs! In: Summer patch 2018

Thread: Fix and Bring back Caen26 Jun 2018, 13:32 PM Beautiful map, a few tweaks away from being an interesting urban map that offers some variety. It was made with a view to allowing urban combat in a 1v1 setting to work, being surprisingly open despite its surroundings. It therefore plays similar to the tournament standard rural map format, or does so a lot more so than most urban maps. It also offers no road bonuses or negative cover to offset the confinements of an urban setting. It's the perfect example of what a variety map should be in auto-match, and is what vetoes are made for. Myself and a few other people I know were a bit surprised it got removed. It didn't perform that badly in veto statistics or in the original polls to remove the map, and only got a higher percentage in the later rounds of voting. I believe with a few tweaks to make the cutoffs easier to defend, and to possibly remove a few sight blockers and open it up a bit more, it could be ready for re-introduction. In: Summer patch 2018
