Allies have better tools to melt axis armour because axis armour is just better overall, esp stock tanks. Mostly allied doctrinal tanks are on par. If axis had better armour still and allies had the same level at tools as axis up onto mediums that is, that axis would waltz over allies like no tomorrow. Getting buffed and some compensating nerfs happens to allies in the same amount. In: COH2 Balance

Instead of smoking the at gun the panther just parks point blank and mg's the models down. The cromwell cant even reliably pen the panther. And if you force the crom or comet to smoke the panther and have them retreat its a win gor the panther and not the other way around. In: COH2 Balance

In sort the gun is more important than the armor for 60 range TD. Now in your opinion is that "ridiculous"? because if it is you are "posting ridiculous stuff". (and by the way SU-76 has 88% chance to penetrate a PzIV at max range so you might want to reconsider your definition of "crap") People dont talk about the lower armour of the su76 compared to the armour of the stug cuz the su76 has 10 more range and is 25 fuel cheaper. Also allied armour values with few exceptions are already lower and axis can mostly pen every stock alled vehicle with ease so people accept it and dont complain. The su76 can pen the ost p4 88% of the time. The vet 2 p4/okw p4 and Anything bigger and chance is 68% at best. Not that it is imbalanced or up but it still isent great pen for the late game. Just the su76 's timing just doesnt excist since the lv fase is tiny and the su76 provides what su dont need at that timing. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: HM-38 120mm Mortar Squad is OP2 Oct 2021, 08:26 AM The 120 mm is not very effective vs a mobile army (okw more so then ost) out side of a few lucky hits. Vs static play wich ost is more about it will do very well. I didnt know it was so cheap to reinforce, this should be remedied esp since its also quite durable. Even putting it at 30 mp per model would be fine. Making merge a good option to reduce bleed and hurt the 120mm with actual bleed. In: COH2 Balance

And why is the 1/3 higher pop and 1/3 higher cost for the 120mm compared to ost and sov mortars not mentioned is this biased comparison? The leig is a tiny but cheaper, has more range on the barrage out of the gate, lower scatter resulting in more accurate shots. More barrage types and faster rof. The 120 mm can retreat and has better aoe, and 1 man to operate and a bit cheaper to reinforce. That you cant outright wipe it with rocket arty doesnt make it uncounterable or unkillable. Allied plays can kill leigs next to forward hq's. In: COH2 Balance
