It's suppression may be useful but an MG42 is still a much better choice that can retreat and can't be countered by atg. -KEEP the changes to all ht doctrine but replace the 250 with another unit or ability. 250ht would be a valuable addition to OKW since they lack a proper infantry transport and a powerful suppression platform (no, opel truck is a joke) In: Lobby

It can take up to 4 barrages (and lucky RNG to hit more than 1 rocket per barrage) to kill the bigger houses. The FHQ is usually used early to block resources, so getting that 100 fuel would take forever anyway. Which is why I specifically mentioned OKW has no early counters. ISGs take absolutely forever to kill large stone buildings. Flame nades take 5 or 6 to kill stone buildings so that's pretty much out of the question early game, too. For ISGs you have to be lucky to have gone Battlegroup, too. OKW's early 'counters' are shit. Suggested long ago that stuka should fire 6 rockets in a circular area with a second of cooldown between each rocket, to punish static position and counter buildings but give a chance to retreat (instead of playing the "guess what line did i just draw" game), and to put it at 75 fuel like any rocket arty so it becomes accessible as an mg spam counter. But the priority seems "fixing stuff" as always, without caring of this being viable or not after the "fix" In: Lobby

It's a bit more nuanced than the USF but in the end the core issues are similar. You build 3-4 Volks right off the bat, perhaps a Kubel, and the next thing around 2CP you're gonna want is ATG, HMG, light vehicle or save manpower for Obers. There's no room for a just-not-elite squad like JLI. Moving JLI to 0CP with the deployment cooldown would really allow them to be integrated into the core army as a replacement to a Volks squad. If it turns out their current combat capabilities too good for 0CP, some of their performance at vet0 can be nerfed and moved to vet1-vet2 (like camo and the scoped Gewehr43 accuracy) so they will be at full capacity around the time of 2CP. As an OKW player I would really appreciate it if there was actually a bit more variation in starting build orders because besides the occasional Kubel or second Sturmpioneer, it's just the same 3-4 Volksgrenadier strat every single match. The sight (50) that JLI give would also be extremely useful in OKW's early game to help avoid HMGs. For some reason balance team excluded panzerfussie from revamp. They could have been turned into a semi elite 5 men tier 0 squad to give okw some extra options. In: Lobby

Don't you wonder why Kubel was made a capping vehicle instead of the same failed mobile suppression platform? Halftracks are only good for transporting, shielding and reinforcing infantry and their duties end there. The only saving grace is upgrades. So once again I don't see a point in a lightly armored unit that needs to lockdown in order to suppress. It's better off just reinforcing infantry and being a "Panzerschreck bus" albeit with a single squad inside. IIRC the Suppression has been buffed to 0.00007, which is way higher than any mg. Schreck bus is a possible application, so it should definetly get some speed bonus at vet 2 or something. Kubel is a whole other thing tho, that is crap. In: Lobby

In a faction where every combat squad consists of 6 men they have neither DPS nor survivability to do anything on the field. You might as well let them die after they infiltrate as there is no point in keeping them around, even using them as an ambush unit is pointless as they lose to mainline infantries anyway If they spawned with 4 men and then can be reinforced to 6 and got sprint as ability they could at least play the same role assault grenadiers do now This is false, Halftrack has been added because is an halftrack and light suppression platform that perfectly fit an infantry focused doctrine and synergize with infantry. I can't see what the hell has NKVD to do with partisans, and what good can't possibly come out from yet another 6 men ppsh doctrinal unit with a completely different weapon curve and whatnot. No problem in getting something wrong, i'm just saying it to avoid misinformation 2) It doesn't, at least not if each model is in actual green cover. Test it by youself. The cover they are behind soaks a lot of shots, as like every other projectile based weapon. Different is something like tank traps or a cover with barely any space for the whole team, but when a proper solid cover applies, mg's can suppress even faster than what flak does. Sometimes even 2 bursts wouldn't do anything but paint the target test cover. Faymont ville stone walls are perfect for the test In: Lobby

Update: 17th of May 2018 "SdKfz 251/17 Flak Halftrack The 251 flak is having its suppression reduced to prevent it from immediately pinning squads; smoke cost has been increased to make quick escapes more costly • Suppression reduced from 0.3 to 0.15 • Concealment smoke increased from to 25/15 to 35/25 at veterancy 0/1" Other than that, flak ht has been delayed of 5 fuel points with teching changes in the same patch. Flak ht suppression would go from 1 burst outside of cover to 2 to green covered squads. Also stop being an utter ass that never got enough mom's love to begin with, regardless, but especially if what you said is objectively wrong. In: Lobby
