Thread: Soviet September patch discussion18 Aug 2019, 18:42 PM concensus of who? 4v4 main players maybe. 7man cons upgrade changes how the unit works, 30% less weapon cooldown and reinforcement cost reduction. -> more dps, more durability, alot more trading efficiency Weapon upgrades only up the dps. My problem is the huge powerspike soviets get at t3... tripple buff for this is too much, cant say this enough In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Soviet September patch discussion18 Aug 2019, 17:12 PM Overall Conscript builds get too many buffs in this patch imo. 7man upgrade might be - after the JLI G34 - the most cost efficient upgrade and make them insanly strong, locked behind t3 with both molo and at nade upgrade, which you usually get anyways. Getting a t70 and 7man cons at roughly the same time is a very huge powerspike and can snowball too easy. Not only this but t2 gets cheaper which allows even faster t3 and t70/7man rush. When you want to promote easier back teching make a discount on t2 when t1 or maybe t3 is build. In the current state it just speeds up the t70 rush, nothing else. On top of that, maxim gets a buff. Well deserved i think, but these are !3! buffs for a already strong and common conscript build. Its simply too much imo In: COH2 Balance

Ost: 150mp and 60 Muni vs Sov: 250mp - one could argue munition is more important than manpower but its pretty similar and the healing rate is the same iirc Also your Grens and pios can heal on the field for a small munition investment. Sure, usf has the best healing but its also the most fragile and expensive - 250 mp and 10 fuel which dies to one hit by a sneeky raketen or any tank that takes a peek at it. Thread: Reduce the damage of PTRS against all vehicles.7 May 2019, 01:50 AM ptrs penals and guards trade manpower for repair time vs every vehicle that isnt a 222, so overall you will win the engagement. They might be able to kill a flamer ht but you can just get one burst in and the penal/guard has to retreat or will die like flies to any supporting gren. ptrs damage isnt overpowered at all, you just need to learn to play around them. draw the ptsr fire on some grens and bleed them with your vehicle. PLace a mg behind your vehicle etc When you lose any vehicle to ptrs fire its always mis-micro, nothing else In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Why Would You Not Pick German Infantry Commander? 6 Apr 2019, 23:55 PM Command P4, tac smoke, Ele, stuka bomb, recon overflight, JU-78, camouflage MGs, Lmg gren blobs... just to name my reasons i never pick german infantry in teamgames. Allied vet0 infantry cant fight vet5 volks or vet3 lmg grens either so i dont get that point. I dont want to say it is a bad commander but others are usefull for other situations, matchups or maps. I´d prefer Blitzkrieg and Jäger armor over German Infantry almost every time. Not that 5man grens or free healing and especially the frag bombs wouldnt be usefull in some situations but its not worth a commander spot for me. In: Ostheer Strategies
