Thread: Rear Echelon very weak.13 Apr 2020, 18:40 PM Rear echelons main issue is that their main engineer role (repairing) is made unnecessary by vehicle crews. Imo good way to change them could be make them more combat oriented infantry, pretty much conscripts for usf. They could kedp sweeper, but possibility to funcrion as weaker mainline is possibility. No matter what faction commits it. Just because ukf in general was buffed does not mean tommy blob is somehow more threatening. Rifle blob could just as well chew up the same, with even better results when you mix re or officer with smokes to blind mgs. In: COH2 Balance

Sometimes when i trt to target it to shoot something, vwhicle tries to turn with front facing the target, which obiviously hampers its ability to fight, only kedping it in handbreak stops this. Lets start with using correct terminology first. You're referring to the non-docrinal M4A3 75mm Sherman getting the doctrinal dozer blade upgrade found on the also doctribal 105mm Sherman. The doctrinal 76mm Sherman doesn't get this upgrade. There is no 106mm Sherman. The upgrade probably brings it on par with a standard Wehrmacht Panzer IV, with the Pamzer IV having a better gun while the dozer Sherman has better armor and health. The cost of the Dozer Sherman exceeds that of the OST P4. The vehicle is still greatly inferior to the OKW P4J as well as a Vet 2 OST P4. It is simply no match for a Panther which goes without saying, and neither is any USF vehicle besides the Pershing and even that is 50/50. The AP/HE shell mechanic is inferior to the P4's main gun being effective against all targets without the need to waste time switching ammo. This is especially true for the P4J. The Dozer Sherman, like any Sherman, is easily countered by properly placed AT guns or Stugs, and also any double Shreck sqauds out there. It's rather amusing to see people have trouble against this little tank with it's little dozer blade. Nitpicking of typing error. Really? In: COH2 Balance

So, the problem was Penals. Instead of nerfing penals, patch team buff cons. The same thing could apply to Grens. 90% of player base has problems with 4men Gren squads. diffirence is that even vet 0 grens could still work out when you refurbished them with mg 42s. They werent gonna go against vet 3 paras sure but lmg did give them chance against opposing mainlines. Cons on the otherhand had only their shitty basic nagants, which dps would be largely mitigated by recieved accuracy bonuses enemies would have gathered. As for penals, they start out with better rifles, which also gave them chance later on without vet. In: COH2 Balance
