Oh like they already do with Command Panther for YEARS? Its AI may not be the greatest, but it doesn't have to be with how strong voks are, it serves the exact same role regular heavies do in "wait on lights for call-in heavy" strats.

That's absolutely nothing new for OKW.

There is also nothing wrong with elite infantry and heavy armor call-ins, these doctrines may be preferred, but they don't automatically make other doctrines bad in any way. Less appealing, sure, but certainly not bad, especially after we've got couple of doctrinal reworks.

Going Volks into Luchs/Puma into Command Panther means you can´t get adequate late game infantry. Volks are a weakness in late game. Not sure how you can come to the conclusion that OKW doesn´t need AI from their tanks because of Volks. Compared to the typical Allied late game infantry Volks are pretty shit if we are honest.

Grand Offensive gives you infantry that scales well and basically becomes "elite" after vet 3 and also gives you minute 0 snares. And Spec Ops as it is right now is already too strong compared to any other OKW doctrine other than maybe Overwatch. So yeah a better Spec Ops would be completly braindead.

250 MP Füsilier spam with smoke and mass sprint is also a stupid combination.

Shouldn't the white phos grenade do pretty well against squads in garrisons? The shells certainly do if you call in barrages. He also gets a mortar so I think he's well equipped enough against garrisons

My Assault Sections only had the regular M3 grenade. Not sure if bug or I missed something.

I dont think this doctrine is very balanced. It´s a bit too good especially for 1v1 and maybe 2v2 too.

- Minute 0 snares on the Füsiliers so no more M3 or UC abuse, that´s a HUGE upgrade over regular Volks.

- Panzerfüsiliere are not better than Volks in early game but they get way better as the game progresses, scaling way better than Volks which makes them superior overall for the same price you would pay for regular Volks. And people already complain about Volks being too good. Vet 4-5 Füsiliers are more of a elite infantry than a regular mainline infantry unit.

- Going Mech is not punished by not having adequate infantry in late game anymore because you have vet 4-5 füsiliers that hold their own against any Allied infantry. That used to be the main weakness of OKW not going T4 in the past if they went Spec Ops.

- Tiger Call-In is like the Command Panther OP in 1v1 because it´s a braindead strategy to go a combination of Luchs-Puma or even Stuka into call-in Tiger

So yeah this doctrine as it is right now is NOT a good idea. IMO it´s basically a better Spec Ops because you can go Mech into Call-in tank while still having very good infantry in late game and not being abused as much by early LV because of minute 0 snare.


Another big problem is the combination of smoke + sprint ablity and hords of cheap Füsiliers. Just encourages blobbing too much.

There should be a requirement to actually play the commander before posting.

Agree but at the moment you can´t actually test it because SVT drop is bugged and T0 medics don´t work when you equip this doctrine so your infantry will never be able to have decent fights which makes properly testing the doctrine impossible.

Soviet doctrine:

- healing is bugged, you cant heal when the doctrine is equipped
- Dshk seems good now
- SVT drop seems bugged too, Conscripts pick up the SVTs but don´t actually get them, same for Engineers
- Airborn Guards are ok, not an interesting unit though, feels very generic, why not give them some sort of ppsh upgrade + camo?
