I wonder if reducing the time it takes to enter and exit HTs could be decreased without it being abused somehow. Not sure if this is is doable but what if they made troops take longer to unload in combat, like usf vehicle crews? And then they could make load and unload times out of combat much shorter. Thread: Post nerf USF strategies?5 May 2017, 04:24 AM Jump back to quoted post4 May 2017, 17:10 PMkafrion imo the problem isnt so much the many mgs or the bad us mortar but the fact that each ostheer tier is not only very versatile but also contains some of the most competent units in their respective roles which is turn is helped by the fragility of some of usf key units like the sherman Meh. I don't find ostheer to be a huge problem for usf in most cases. MG spam can get countered by rifle company flamers in urban maps or by mechanized or just plain old flanking on open maps, or ~~glorified riflenade launchers~~ mortars if they really spam em hard and don't wanna move. Also, double bars or rangers eat grenadiers for breakfast all day every day (as they kinda should). In: US Forces Strategies

Dive bombs were used on static targets or large slow moving naval targets. Therefore a giveaway such as flares or a plane or visual plane (Brit bombers) enabling mobile targets to get away is fair enough. There shouldn't be any secrets. Its role is dealing with static howitzers and emplacements. Easy one to be fixed Also literally every other offmap/strafe drops smoke flares. Even CAS runs. Again, the sound will always be missable through no fault of the player and the fact that the bomb has a large radius coupled with uncertain drop point makes it almost impossible to totally avoid except by sheer luck or shitty placement. You don't have to play guessing games with other artillery/airpower, you know where it's gonna go. In: COH2 Bugs
