Thread: COH2 winter balance mod - discussion23 Jan 2020, 21:48 PM Some things I think need to be looked into: -Panther veterancy -Comets -IRHT being saved by heavy engine crit (bug kinda) -IRHT cost and HP -Soviet AT rocket strafe -stuka dive bomb (make it come faster but add flares?) -axis casemates penetration -Jackson (again) -ostwind power/cost ratio -m2HB 50 cal pintle mounts (cost 70 muni, unsure how much better than MG42 pintle) -USF airborne P47s -USF Rifle co -IS2 frontal armor (basically the main issue of the axis casemates pen problems) -MG bunkers costing 0 popcap -soviet repair bays having no limit -soviet advanced warfare IL-2 sturmovik attacks indicator being offcenter still (I think) -JP4 vet 5 still 99% useless -JT vet 5 still 100% useless -G43 potential nerfs -spec ops flares nerfs -pfusi grenades have no callout -soviet PTAB -bundling molotov and AT grenade for cons? -landmattress vet 2 potentially not working, if not, should be removed and given proper vet. -10% barrage CD or +10% rocket delivery speed or something. -landmattress vet requirements should be looked at In: COH2 Gameplay

On top of that Soviet's overall tech is just way cheaper in total compared to OKW. I don't see what justifies an IS2 arriving 50 fuel earlier than a OKW Tiger. It's completely unbalanced. You're actually right in the OP though, the notes only specifiy the OKW tiger requireing all tech. I think Lago is going to be right here. The lack of OST changes means they're either working on them still or even if they aren't, the responses of no changes will create some changes. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Locking OKW Tiger behind all SWS is super unfair23 Jan 2020, 21:14 PM While I haven't tested it, the notes says "you need all tech structures", so doesn't that include all tech buildings as well? Does that mean you need to back tech T1 with soviets if you open with cons into T2? Without even looking at the numbers, it does seem like it's going to cause gaps in timing though. Thread: Flamethrower cannot be rebought22 Jan 2020, 20:15 PM When the royal engineer flamethrower blows up on the 2nd to last hit of the squad, and the last model doesn't die, you lose the flamethrower but cannot repurchase it or the buy the sweeper. The game considers you've already purchased the flamer. If this is intended, it isn't a good mechanic because it renders your squad significantly less useful than that of a flamer or sweeper. Thread: jackson armor nerf20 Jan 2020, 21:35 PM Everyone please be aware of the stats you're posting. I've seen multiple people say it takes 2 shots to kill a puma. The puma has 400 HP and the jackson now deals 160 damage per shot making it a 3 shot kill. HVAP, the jackson vet 1 ability can raise the damage to 200 which can make it a 2 shot kill. Jump back to quoted post20 Jan 2020, 20:21 PMHannibal So in the scenario described above (Jackson got 1 hit, Puma dives) Jackson would need 3 shots = 18 seconds to kill the Puma, Puma needs 4 shots = 13 seconds to kill the Jackson assuming all shots hit (which is actually hard to calculate on the move). If the Jackson is still on reload at the beginning of the dive, it obviously takes a bit longer for the Jackson. As someone previously posted, it takes 6 penetrating hits to kill a jackson, not 4. 4 would've been from the old jackson HP value of 480. The jackson now has 640 HP. In: COH2 Balance

Is it similar in function to conscript molotovs. I once threw one on a maxim occupied building, but it failed to clear the building of the mg by it self but usually molotovs can clear out garrisons with mg's. so do they serve different purposes. Flame and grenades only deal damage near the DoT/explosion. So if the models are all away from the side of building where the flame nade was tossed they take minimal damage. In: Ostheer Strategies
