I might be misunderstanding hannibal here, but he may mean AT capability vs the panther instead of AT in general. While I agree that because of deflection damage the penetration buff would make it less prominent, buffing RoF would risk overbuffing the tank. The ISU can already 2 shot 640s and 3 shot panthers with mark and it doesn't need to be done faster. While in all honesty I've had fantastic success against the elephant with the ISU, probably due to the deflection damage, penetration would benefit more against super heavies while keeping TTK vs 640s-960s roughly the same. I don't really think the ISU needs a buff, I'd just like the ability it has to be more useful or changed. In: COH2 Balance |

How is SU-85 shooting against a tiger equal to an ISU shooting at a super heavy? Super heavies at minimum have 375 armor where the tiger has 300. At baseline 220 max range pen the pen chance, especially when the SU-85 gets its vet and goes to 264 min is a far better pen chance than 200/375(400/450). In: COH2 Balance |

ISU honestly already does slaughter any and all armor beneath elephant/KT/JT. However inorder to effectively beat the elephant in a heads up fight you require mark. The issue I have is its penetration at max is <50% against the JT, which just seems dumb. I had my ISU recently bounce against an OKW p4 and was surprised by that. Not that the ability needs to give it 400 penetration but its pen most of the time isn't what holds it back versus non-superheavies, it's the rate of fire and shell swap times. I don't think a +20% timed pen ability would really break the ISU any further than the current JT or elephant. At the very least the CPR should be considered for a change, as many people have agreed with it being mediocre. In: COH2 Balance |

You created this monster, now live with the consequences. In all seriousness, there's a fine line between making it useful and making it OP, the ISU does not need a 70 range stun shot for example, what Heavy TD would be balanced with that? And turning it into essentially a double tap shot is just the original problem of it erasing squads with extra steps. IMO the least gross option to make it less sad is to simply rework it as a timed ability that let's the ISU's rounds pierce thru shot blockers for like 30 seconds or so, a clone of the JT's ability. I slayed the monster you abooser apparently the AP shell's penetration is 200/230/260. I'd prefer a pen buff ability to manhandle the ele/JT from the front. That, I would gladly pay 60 muni for. Actually the changes where not a nerf but a buff... If you knew how to use the old concrete round the new one pales in comparison, so no, it was a massive nerf. The ability serves almost no purpose, is too expensive, and the cast time is too long to be practical. Please don't skew the perception of the ability by highlighting the increase in AoE distance max when the OHK radius dropped hilariously. Distance near at 1.25 went to 0.25... In: COH2 Balance |

After the most recent patch this ability went from being unknown and broken to practically useless. It has a huge casting time of ~4 seconds(?) and costs 60 munitions for very little benefit. The highest benefit of the shell is it boosts the ISU's penetration to IMO this ability should be reworked, potentially like the JT APCBC shells where it's a timed ability to shoot through obstacles. An increase in penetration timed ability could also be considered. In: COH2 Balance |
